About the host
Hosted by Christa Conrad
I am a wife, Momma to two adult men, and Oma to 6 beautiful grandchildren. I love homesteading, and enjoy family, travel, and singing in the choir at Church. We acquired a log cabin and moved it to our homestead for extra room for visiting family members. We decided to run an AirBnb/ VRBO after traveling and staying in different cabins and homes. We hope to host you soon!
Why they chose this property
We love living in the country! Every day is a retreat, especially with our rustic cabin. Our neighbors are family, right across the street, and our other neighbors are spread out. We love the natural environment and all the animals that visit our homestead. Deer, foxes, racoons, squirrels, and we've even had bobcats on our road. Cayote calls are a normal sound in the field across from us as well.
What makes this property unique
To have a cabin in the woods has always been a dream for us. It is a great space to just relax and enjoy the natural surroundings with plenty of things to do from 5 miles away at Dolan Lake, to an hour away at Garden of The Gods.
