The villa is situated on a hill at the very top of the Rosumarinu holiday resort, offering sweeping unobstructed views of the sea, the Gulf of Porto Vecchio, and Club La Chiappa. The house is new and modern, built in the Mediterranean style, in a very quiet location, cosy, and equipped with every comfort (washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, coffee maker, electric grill, satellite TV, radio/CD player, etc.). It is nestled in nature on a 2,300-square-meter lot and is virtually hidden from view—you can move about freely and swim in your own pool. The villa (170 square metres) has three levels: a large kitchen with a dining area, a living room, one bedroom with a bathroom; a few steps up is another bedroom; and a few more steps up is a third bedroom and a bathroom. All bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning. The large terrace features a granite dining set that seats up to 8 people, as well as lounge chairs and a lounge seating area for relaxing.

The villa is located near Corsica’s most beautiful sandy beaches: La Chiappa, a 10-minute walk; Tahiti Bay (Carataghju), about a 40-minute walk or a 7-minute drive; Palombaggia, a 10-minute drive or a 20-minute bike ride.

Porto Vecchio, Corsica’s third-largest city, is about a 15-minute drive from the house. It’s right on the water and has a lovely marina with restaurants, cafés, a promenade, and several supermarkets. The old town, with its city walls, is perfect for strolling, featuring many boutiques and shops.
Corsica is one of the larger Mediterranean islands: 182 km long, 83 km wide, and covering an area of 8,720 square kilometres. It is located 170 km from the French mainland, 83 km from Italy, and 12 km from Sardinia. Corsica is a green island with stunning mountain landscapes, unique beaches, and beautiful, historic towns such as Bonifacio, Ajaccio, and Porto Vecchio. Visitors can enjoy long, scenic hikes, explore impressive gorges, or admire and hike to waterfalls. By the way, the highest peak is Monte Cinto at 2,706 m. You can also go on extended bike tours along the coast or into the mountains. If none of that appeals to you or seems too strenuous, you can treat yourself to a wonderful day at the beach on the most beautiful beaches (Palombaggia, Santa Giulia, Saint Cyprien) not far from the villa. It’s also a special experience to stroll through the nearby, picturesque towns of Porto Vecchio or Bonifacio with their many narrow alleyways.
