The charming holiday home “Gretel” is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac in the forest community “de Borg” at Rehweg 166. It is one of the two semi-detached homes, “Hänsel and Gretel,” which can also be booked together if desired. The adjoining terraces can be used both separately and together.

Ground Floor:
“Gretel’s” kitchen is equipped with a microwave, oven, dishwasher, and fridge-freezer.
The living room features an internet-enabled satellite TV, a DVD player, and a stereo system.
A guest bathroom and a storage room are also located on the ground floor.

ground floor:
The house’s three bedrooms are all located on the upper floor.
There is also a bathroom with a shower, toilet, washing machine, and dryer.
The living area of the house is fully tiled, and the bedrooms have PVC flooring.

In the adjacent garden, there is a small shed that offers space for bicycles or other travel gear you may bring along.

We’re also happy to welcome your four-legged friend. However, please note that pets must remain on the ground floor, as not all guests wish to sleep in a bed where dogs have previously slept. We reserve the right to charge additional cleaning fees retroactively in the event of inappropriate behaviour.

Bed linens, towels, and tea towels are not included in the price and must be brought with you or can be booked as an optional add-on for €14 per person.

Not far from the holiday home is the Schloss Dankern Holiday Centre (approx. 900 m) as well as Lake Dankern (approx. 500 m), which is perfect for water sports and swimming.
Furthermore, Haren and the surrounding area offer a wide range of recreational activities, and the beautiful Emsland region provides plenty of opportunities for long walks and bike rides.
Within a radius of about 15 km, you’ll find, for example, a horseback riding centre, a go-kart track, a golf course, a dredger park, or a trampoline park.
A visit to the city of Papenburg could also enhance your holiday.
