Inside, the cottage offers warm wooden details, soft natural light, and a layout that feels comfortable and grounding. The fireplace creates a relaxing evening atmosphere, while the private sauna adds a restorative element to your stay — perfect after a day exploring the forest or nearby lakes.

Large windows bring the outdoors into every room, with views of trees, wildlife, and shifting Scandinavian light.

Hosting is something I genuinely enjoy. I take pride in offering a smooth, comfortable stay with thoughtful details, clear communication, and a welcoming environment.
The cottage is designed to feel warm, calm, and restorative, with amenities that elevate the experience: a private sauna, a cosy fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, fast WiFi, comfortable bedrooms, and a forest‑facing outdoor terrace perfect for slow mornings or peaceful evenings.
My goal is always the same — to give guests a premium retreat where they can relax, explore, and feel at home in rural Sweden.

Alongside hosting, I run Swedish Wild Kitchen outdoor dining experiences and Dalsland Nature Tours which offers guided local walking and photography tours and guided fishing trips around the beautiful local lakes.
These experiences are shaped by the seasons and the landscape — cooking over fire, using local ingredients, and sharing the quiet beauty of Dalsland’s nature.
Many guests choose to combine their stay with one of these activities, and I’m always happy to help arrange them.

Whether you’re here for rest, adventure, or a taste of Scandinavian outdoor living, I’m nearby if you need anything, while giving you complete privacy throughout your stay.

It’s close to everything but still feels wonderfully remote.
The famous Håverud aqueduct is just minutes away, and the whole area is perfect for hiking, cycling, fishing, and slow days in nature. It’s the kind of place where you wake up to birds, breathe clean air, and feel the stress fall away.
