Welcome to beautiful Bad Reichenhall in the Berchtesgadener Land! Our cosy holiday apartments are situated in a prime location in an apartment building on the ridge of the “Schroffen” in Bad Reichenhall. In fact, they’re just a stone’s throw away from the Predigtstuhlbahn. Our special highlight is the heated swimming pool! It features a panoramic window with a view of the Predigtstuhl. Tip: We recommend bringing dressing gowns for the pool. That way, you can take the lift down from the apartment directly in your swimwear and head straight to the pool. Amenity Highlights: Our first highlight is the heated swimming pool. The second special feature is the lighting control via Alexa. Of course, the holiday apartments have Wi-Fi. “Alpenschwänchen” has a safe in the closet and a phone (incoming calls only). The underground parking space, available for rent at 12 EUR/night (if available!), is especially convenient in wet or very hot/cold weather. A washing machine and dryer are located in the building. (Coin-operated => Coins can be obtained from the caretaker or his representative. Tip: The caretaker locks the swimming pool every evening at 9:00 p.m.) A fitness room and a table tennis room are located in the swimming pool area. There is a tanning bed in the swimming pool’s changing room (2 EUR coin-operated). There is a bike storage room next to the underground car park.
The cosy and comfortable “Rupertusschwänchen” holiday apartment is approximately 29 m² in size. From the apartment door, you enter a small hallway with the bathroom off to the left. Straight ahead is the living room with a cosy dining area and a sleeper sofa (e.g., for children). Immediately to the left of the living room door is the 160-cm-wide box-spring bed with a topper. The living room features a modern TV with an Amazon TV Stick. The cosy leather couch can be pulled out to form a double bed (150×200). The living room opens onto the large balcony. It’s furnished with a cosy two-seater bench, two chairs, and a table. In the corner is a drying rack for wet swimwear. From here, you can enjoy the view of the Predigtstuhlbahn and watch the red gondolas go up and down. Next to the dining area is the refrigerator with a microwave. Here you can enjoy a meal, play board games, or plan your excursions. Between the box-spring bed and the sofa bed is a small desk for writing or using a laptop. Opposite the box-spring bed is the spacious closet with a large mirror. Here you can check your outfit. Next to it is a coat rack for your jackets, coats, and shoes. The small kitchen is located in the hallway and features an induction stove with an oven and a dishwasher. Of course, a toaster, electric kettle, coffee maker (Tassimo or Senseo), and much more are also provided. The bathroom has a tub with a showerhead. A hair dryer is provided. Naturally, the “Rupertusschwänchen” holiday rental offers internet/Wi-Fi. The lighting can be controlled via Alexa, allowing you to dim the lights. You can also listen to the radio or music through Alexa.
According to Google Maps, it’s 1.4 km or an 18-minute walk from the apartments to the Old City Hall. The distance to Café Reber in the heart of the pedestrian zone is 1.5 km or a 20-minute walk. It takes only a quarter of an hour by car to get to Salzburg. Because of its mild climate, Bad Reichenhall is often called the “Merano of the North.” The Berchtesgaden Alps are perfect for hiking, mountaineering, and skiing. In the summer, the beautiful Thumsee lake is perfect for swimming. And Salzburg, the city of Mozart, is always worth a visit. The distance from the Bad Reichenhall-Kirchberg train station is 1.1 km. It takes about 18 minutes on foot, though the route is uphill.
We got married in Bad Reichenhall but unfortunately had to move to Berlin for work. However, since we still feel a strong connection to beautiful Bad Reichenhall, we now rent out several holiday apartments there and check on them regularly.
