Amazing !!! Pool

Our stay at Hodges Hill was amazing! We loved how spacious and well set up everything was. The highlight of our trip was definitely the pool—our kids enjoyed every single minute of it! The drive into town was also short and convenient, which made exploring the area easy. We had such a wonderful stay and would definitely love to come back!

Spotless, comfy, ultra clean home! We were greeted by a family of deer and a family of quail. Pool is old school: deep, clean water, and not overly chlorinated. The place was easy to get to: just a couple of blocks off Hwy 41 and less than half an hour from Yosemite entrance. We will be back someday! Recommendation to owners: a handful of plastic dishes for when kids visit, please!

House was great, road was a bit rough at the top but there’s not a whole lot the host can do. Plenty of parking space and the pool and deck area were awesome.

The family enjoyed the stay. My 15 & 16 yr old grandsons loved the rooms upstairs. Plus the pool. Want to stay again next visit.

Wonderful Cabin

My partner and I rented the cabin for the weekend and had a wonderful time. The location is perfect for going to Yosemite or for hanging out and going to the restaurants near by. It’s clean, comfy, and has plenty of space for guests.

Serine, beautiful, and perfect proximity!!!

Our party of 6 adults were very comfortable--very cozy and not cramped at all! The pool is so calming and fun, and the back patio is the perfect location for an outdoor dinner. And it is the perfect location to access Yosemite. 10/10 would recommend!

Feels like grandmas house

Cute place. A little older, but feels nostalgic like you are visiting grandmas house. House, kitchen, bathrooms fully stocked. Pool was nice and clean. WiFi is a little spotty and phones take a LONG time to charge, but overall would definitely stay again.

Great place near Yosemite

The kids all loved the pool. I loved the closeness to Yosemite. It was a cute town with a grocery store nearby. We had the tools needed to cook every night. It was fun seeing deer outside everyday.

If you arrive at night, it will be hard to find the house. It sits back from the street and there is no obvious address listed. Watch out for large potholes in the street.Water pressure is low, so when doing laundry have small loads with water level to fill on max level setting. There are 2 beach towels and a hair dryer in the closet, not clear if those were available for guests. Do not lean at all on deck railing. The home is spacious and comfortable. Good proximity to restaurants and south entrance to Yosemite.

Family Summer road trip

We had a great time. Kids love the pool and everything is as described. A/C works great however it is a bit loud, but we slept through it after a hiking day. Kitchen has everything we need to make a meal. WiFi and TV work great. Kiddos have fun time with the pool. Highly recommend and probably will be back if we visit South Yosemite.

Family summer road trip

We had a great time, kids love to play in the pool. Everything is as described. AC works well even though it is a bit loud, but we slept through. Kitchen is well stocked and have everything we need to make a meal. House is easy to find and private. WiFi works great. Thank you, and we definitely come back when we visit South Yosemite again.

Close to Yosemite

We enjoyed the closeness to Yosemite here, and cooling off in the pool after a day in the heat. Close to shops and hiking. Only problem we had were A LOT of ants in the kitchen and bathrooms. We called property manager to report before we left so hopefully they were able to spray soon after. Didn't ruin our trip, but was a bit of a hassle putting everything in the fridge. On a plus, house was roomy and comfortable.

Great location

Many issues with structural integrity of the deck rails and staor case to the pool . The pools was dirty even after the pool man came . Deck is not safe for small kids dexk rail loose. Its only a matter of time somone gets hurt and sues the management cimpany. And owner . Caution tape on one of the stair cases.. other wise great location.

Pool nice but Vacasa property management is terrible!

Pool was clean and well taken care of. Many malfunctioning appliances - dishwasher needs to be dragged next to sink and connected by a hose (and even THEN it did not work!); ice maker didn't work (in 100 degree heat); coffee maker missing lid; cable TV in living room not working; A/C in room with twin beds was weak; water pressure in upstairs bathroom was low and the water in the house completely shut down one night. The worst is Vacasa property management: messages were answered by different rep each time, and none of them were familiar with the property; there is no local rep to answer questions about the malfunctioning appliances, and no one came during our 5-day stay to fix anything (though they promised someone would come on the first day). Pillows are terrible and furniture is outdated. It is sufficiently clean though, and the rooms were adequate. We really did enjoy the pool (just make sure you bring your own pool toys!). I will never again rent from any Vacasa property after this terrible experience.

The home’s manager has been made aware of your issues and here is what has been done; the ice maker has been repaired, a new coffee maker has been added to the home, and the cable has been fixed. Additionally, the owner of the home is planning on adding new floors and making other updates to the home. Our apologies for any disconnect that you felt in the care that you received as that is not our standard. To clarify, our guest services team reached out to our local management team to address the issues at hand and our local team was sent over on the same day. Unfortunately, the person needed to make the repairs was not available until the next morning at 9 the next morning when they were finally completed. Again, our apologies for the issues you experienced and we hope to have another opportunity to host you again for a truly enjoyable stay!
