Our alpine lodge is an authentic Carinthian log cabin, built in 1969 at exactly 1,800 metres above sea level and continuously maintained ever since. It thus combines the rustic charm of an alpine hut with modern amenities. The heart of the alpine cottage is the large living area on the ground floor, featuring a spacious couch, dining table, and kitchen. Also on the ground floor are the entryway, the coat closet, the bathroom, and the separate toilet. The upper floor features three bedrooms that can accommodate a total of six people. The house faces south, offering a magnificent panoramic view of the Falkert.
The entire Falkertsee area is within walking distance of the cabin. In the immediate vicinity are Lake Falkert, via ferrata routes, mountain bike trails, numerous hiking trails (such as a section of the Alpe-Adria Trail), and much more. Thanks to its central location in Carinthia, however, many other destinations are easily accessible by car. For example, it takes just a few minutes by car to reach the Nockalmstraße or the beaches of Lake Millstatt.

In winter, the Heidi Alm family ski area, the cross-country ski trail, and the illuminated toboggan run are all located in the immediate vicinity of the alpine house. Other ski resorts, such as Bad Kleinkirchheim, the Turracher Höhe, or Hochrindl, are just a few minutes’ drive away.

The upper floor features 3 bedrooms that sleep a total of 6 people. There are two double beds (180 cm and 140 cm) and two single beds available.



On-site costs: The cabin is available for rent year-round. A final cleaning fee, as well as the local and lodging taxes, will be charged per stay. All other operating costs are already included in the price. Cancellation policy: • In the last week before the arrival date, the cancellation fee is 90% of the total price. • From one month to one week before the arrival date, the cancellation fee is 70% of the total price. • Between 3 months and 1 month before the arrival date, the cancellation fee is 40% of the total price; Note: These cancellation policies supersede the right of withdrawal under the European Union’s Consumer Rights Directive.



Check-in is from 4:00 to 11:30 p.m., and check-out is from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
