Ferienwohnung 1 - Ferienwohnungen Jan van Gent
Size: approx. 45 square metres; living room with open kitchen, bedroom, bathroom with shower, sink, and toilet; upper floor; ideal for 1 to 2 people.
In the small and charming North Seaspa town of Neuharlingersiel, our house features two beautiful, comfortable, and lovingly designed holiday apartments. We’ve named the house “Jan van Gent.” That’s the name of our crab boat—one of the 14 crab boats that still set out traditionally from the historic Neuharlingersiel harbour to go fishing today. “Jan van Gent” is the fishermen’s name for the seabird “Basstölpel”; our cutter was named after this nickname (you can find photos of our cutter on this website, for example in the upper right corner of this page).
In addition to our wonderful and somewhat unusual profession, which gives you the opportunity to take a closer look at a fishing boat, we also have a great hobby: Western-style horseback riding. Maybe you’d like to come along to Boisenhausen sometime, where we pursue this hobby.
Arrival is possible from 3:00 to 20:00, and check-out is from 07:00 to 10:00.
