Vacation accommodation by a private lake, surrounded by nature in Ketzin, not far from Berlin

You'll be renting a unique property all to yourself!

There are two buildings, located just under 20 metres apart. The white main bungalow contains all the main amenities: bathroom, kitchen, bedroom (2 beds), and a living room with TV and Wi-Fi. The log cabin next door features a large room with a double bed and an attached small bathroom with a sink (hot/cold water). As such, the property is designed to accommodate a maximum of 4 guests; an extra bed is available on-site only for one small child (travel cot for children up to 3 years old).


The main bungalow is situated on a 1.3-hectare lake, just 5 metres from the beach. From the covered terrace, you look directly out onto the lake’s water; the only other view is of a small, old villa about 150 metres away, hidden behind trees, and to the right of your solid-construction bungalow, the log cabin serving as the second sleeping area (with TV, guest bathroom, and sink...)

You’re on the outskirts of the Havelland town of Ketzin (in the Brückenkopf district) within a bird sanctuary that borders the Havel River, its tributaries, and small canals. Many bird species—some of them rare—are native to this area and can almost always be seen in action.

Ketzin itself is located about 12 kilometres from Berlin’s western ring road (A10)—the city centers of Berlin and Potsdam are about 25 km away (towards the northeast)—with all their sights and events.

You’ll spend your holiday (bookable from Saturday to Saturday for 1 week or more) at a hidden gem that has recently undergone extensive modernization and upgrades and will be available on the market for the first time starting in June/July 2024. Since the lake (part of which, approximately 6,500 m², belongs to the property), you’ll have a total of over 7,000 m² all to yourselves—without any disruptive neighbors!
Here, you can swim, fish, barbecue, party, play darts and table tennis, enjoy a campfire, or simply unwind and slow down.
For children, the surrounding area offers unique inspiration and pure adventure fun!

Four-legged family members are also welcome, provided you can show proof of appropriate dog third-party insurance. Please also note that additional costs for final cleaning may apply in some cases.

The small but very well-equipped kitchen offers everything you need to shine at the perfect dinner!

deep fryer, 2 coffee machines (classic filter + Nespresso)

The outdoor pavilion to the left of the bungalow is weatherproof and offers a shaded retreat—equipped with a full mosquito net and/or curtains... View: the lake!... There is also a second refrigerator for drinks

If you’d like to go fishing, please familiarise yourself with the current fishing laws of the state of Brandenburg.

Due to the lack of intensive fishing, the lake itself boasts an exceptionally good population of whitefish (carp, tench, bream, roach, rudd, and rudd-perch), as well as predatory fish (zander, pike, catfish, perch, eel, and asp)

Actual electricity consumption is determined and documented by reading and recording the metre reading upon arrival and departure. 100 kW/h per week is already included in the price. Consumption exceeding this amount is charged at a flat rate of 0.40€ per kW/h. Payment for electricity costs exceeding the included amount is due in cash upon departure or, optionally, will be deducted from the security deposit.

The table tennis table and dartboard provided are, of course, welcome to be used as much as you like. Accessories such as paddles, darts, and balls are provided. Additionally, an approx. 5-meter-long rowing boat (for 4 people) is available for your use.

To ensure comfort even during the colder months of the year, both accommodation (the bungalow and the log cabin) are equipped with electronic floor heating. This allows you to heat the rooms to a comfortable temperature—just as you’re used to at home—while you clean your harvest from the nearby mushroom forests, if desired.
