Melllnitz is located in the unspoilt south of the island, far away from the resort towns.
The region has developed into an important migration and resting area for waterfowl, waders and cranes. Thousands of ducks (especially wigeons, mallards and tufted ducks) and geese (especially greylag geese) rest in the area during migration periods. Countless cranes also use the Wiek as a roosting site in autumn.

A variety of leisure activities are within easy reach of Reethaus Knut.

The holiday home is located in a quiet residential area. The property is located directly on the Üselitzer Wiek and was built in 2024.
The comfortable thatched house was built in a classic style and has a living space of approx. 125 m², divided over two fully heated floors. The fully integrated underfloor heating ensures a cosy atmosphere. On the ground floor there is a fully equipped kitchen with a cooking island, followed by a spacious living and dining area with a wood-burning stove and modern electronic equipment. 55 inch Smart TV. The ground floor also has a bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet. A sauna for free use is attached to the bathroom. The upper floor has three individually furnished bedrooms and a further bathroom with shower, bathtub, double washbasin, hairdryer and toilet, as well as natural light. Two bedrooms are each furnished with a double bed (180 x 200) and a single bed (90 x 200). The third bedroom has a double bed (180x200). All bedrooms have a Smart TV. The property is child-friendly with a stair gate, a safety rail for the bed and two highchairs for children to use free of charge. In the utility room you will find a washing machine and tumble dryer for free use, as well as an ironing board, iron and hoover.
A travel cot is available.

On the sunny terrace you will find a garden table with 8 chairs, a sun lounger, two parasols and a beach chair. A gas barbecue is available for cosy barbecue evenings. There is also a lockable garden shed for your bicycles on the approx. 1000 m² property. Approx. 2 cars can be parked on the property. An electric charging station in the form of a wall box is available and is charged according to consumption.
