My husband and I have been looking for a different vacation experience in the gulf and we found it with this beautiful house in the more secluded area of Cape San Blas just outside Port Saint Joe. We were tired of the crowds and the traffic in the Destin and Pensacola area and a few people had told us about Port Saint Joe. Quaint and charming. Not much traffic. Yet several wonderful restaurants and a walkable historical downtown with a variety of shops. But the best surprise was the house in Cape San Blas and the neighborhood it is located in. This house is clearly newer and in immaculate condition with beautiful decor. We didn’t know if we would like the upside down floor plan (main living on the top third floor and bedrooms on the first and second floor) but it made perfect sense when we got there. The views from the third floor were worth the drive! Absolutely stunning to be able to see the gulf and the bay, especially at sunset! We intend to host our grown kids and grandchildren here, and the layout for the five bedrooms are ideal. Plus, they’re very well furnished with great bed linens. The kitchen was awesome-large, well-equipped and plenty of seating! And having a garage was a big plus and gave us a sense of security. Also a special mention of the gated neighborhood-it is just as beautiful as the photos reflect. Wonderful pool and spa just a block away and piers for fishing. The pool being close and the beach across the street make this property a 5 Star!
