Villa Funcke offers pure relaxation - surrounded by culture and nature.

It is located in Eisenach's villa district, one of the largest listed villa districts in Germany, in a quiet area with no through traffic. Surrounded by greenery, it is the perfect starting point to reach the UNESCO World Heritage Wartburg, one of the most famous castles in Germany, just 1.2 km away on foot. Eisenach's market square, the Bach and Luther houses, shopping facilities and a variety of German and international restaurants are all just a 10-minute walk away. The automobile museum "Automobile Welt Eisenach" is 1.8 km away. Hiking enthusiasts will find the Thuringian Forest with Rennsteig trail directly from the accommodation. The Hainich National Park is also just a short drive away.

The cozy and lovingly designed vacation apartment is located in the basement of the villa and has access to its own terrace. It offers a bedroom, a living room with sofa bed, a bathroom with shower, hairdryer and combined washer-dryer as well as a fully equipped open kitchen with dining area, fridge, oven, microwave, induction hob, Senseo and filter coffee machine, kettle, toaster and basic equipment for self-cooking. There is a TV with cable connection in both the living room and bedroom. Free WiFi is available throughout the accommodation. Towels, bath towels, tea towels and bed linen are provided.

The distance to the accommodation from Eisenach train station is 1.5 km. The nearest airport is Erfurt, 65 km away.

Villa Funke

Die Ferienwohnung ist genauso wie beschrieben. Sie ist geschmackvoll, zweckmäßig und liebevoll eingerichtet. Es fehlt an nichts. Angefangen von Kaffeemaschine, Toaster und Mikrowelle, Herd bis Bügeleisen und Waschmaschine ist alles vorhanden und in einem Top-Zustand. Die Eigentümer sind freundlich und haben uns hilfreiche Hinweise zur Erkundung der Umgebung gegeben. Diese haben die in der Wohnung ausliegenden Informationsbroschüren sehr gut ergänzt. Auch die Lage der Wohnung, genau zwischen Wartburg und Stadtkern Eisenach, ist perfekt. Wir sind mit dem Zug angereist und waren auf „Wandern“ eingestellt, das kam uns dann auch zugute, denn die Villa liegt auf einem Berg (zumindest aus Sicht eines norddeutschen Flachländlers).

Außergewöhnlich

Pros: Eine super Ferienwohnung! Sehr liebevoll und modern eingerichtet, man fühlt sich wie zuhause. Es ist alles da, was man für einen Wochenendausflug braucht. Sehr praktisch ist der Parkplatz direkt am Haus. Wird auf jeden Fall weiterempfohlen! Wir kommen gern wieder.
