Holiday apartment in a listed half-timbered house with charming light blue beams and white infill panels, located in Eisenach’s Südviertel – quiet, central, and ideally situated between the historic town center and the Thuringian Forest. Perfect for 1–2 guests.
Enjoy a peaceful stay in a historic half-timbered house while having everything within walking distance: The holiday apartment “Blaue Blume” is located in one of the most beautiful residential areas of Eisenach – one of the largest connected villa districts in Germany. Here, unique architecture, history, and a relaxed atmosphere come together.
This is not a standard holiday apartment, but a place with character and history.
The apartment was originally the gymnasium of a girls’ boarding school built in 1914. Over the decades, it was used for various purposes before being carefully and thoughtfully transformed into a stylish holiday home.

On the lower level, you will find a bright and open living area with a ceiling height of 4.8 meters and views into the garden, a dining area, a small fitted kitchen, and a separate guest WC. A narrow spiral staircase leads to the mezzanine level with a sleeping area (one large bed 1.80 x 2.00 m) and a small bathroom with shower – compact, cozy, and full of charm.
A small library with books about Eisenach and Thuringia, as well as novels and crime stories, invites you to relax.
