Welcome to Moby’s Hafenglück!

Our lovingly renovated and furnished holiday rental is perfectly equipped for four guests who appreciate a Nordic atmosphere and relaxed get-togethers. Built in 1910 and fully renovated in recent years, the house is located a short distance from the beach but very close to the market square and the harbour.

A parking space is available right outside your door, and bicycles can be stored in the garage (however, there is currently no way to charge bike batteries in the garage).
We’re happy to offer linen packages (bed linens/towels)—please contact us if you’d like to book them. We can then provide you with the relevant information and prices.

The holiday rental is located on the ground floor and has a separate entrance and stairwell. You’ll find plenty of space in the stairwell to store jackets, shoes, and a stroller.
Upstairs, you’ll find a spacious living and dining room, an open kitchen, two bedrooms, a bathroom—and Moby—waiting for you.

Important information: the ground-floor apartment is permanently rented out.
Therefore, the holiday rental is not available to bachelor/hen nights or youth groups.

Since the ground-floor tenants have a dog, NO pets are allowed in the apartment.

The living and dining room has been comfortably furnished for four people (+ possibly 1 baby/toddler).
The table is extendable, and a high chair can be provided upon request.
And while the children play, you can relax very comfortably in the armchair and sofa area. Standard TV programming is available free of charge via a 1&1 TV box; with your own login, you can also easily access Netflix and Amazon Prime on the TV.

The open kitchen has everything you could want: an oven, 4 ceramic cooktops and an exhaust hood, a refrigerator, a dishwasher, ample storage space, and all the kitchen utensils you need to showcase your culinary skills.
A kettle, a drip coffee maker, and a toaster are provided.

The large bedroom, featuring a very comfortable double bed (1.60 × 2.00 m), offers plenty of storage space for your luggage with a chest of drawers and a three-door closet.
And if you’d like to watch TV in bed, you can do so here as well (Roku TV/standard apps available).
Bedding is not provided as standard but can be booked separately as part of the linen package.

The small bedroom, with its bunk bed, two shelves, play rug, and children’s toys, offers a wonderful atmosphere for young guests. But adults (up to 80 kg) can also relax comfortably in the bunk bed after a day of activities. The window is equipped with a safety lock.

In the very spacious bathroom, you can relax with a warm shower or a cosy soak in the corner bathtub. A washing machine and a hair dryer are provided. Here, too, towels and bath mats can be booked separately as part of the linen package.

What is the location like?
Centrally located in Neustadt and therefore not directly on the beach.
It’s about a 2-minute walk to the nearest bakery and supermarket, 6 minutes to the beautiful market square and pedestrian zones with various shopping options, and 9 minutes to the marina at the lower Jungfernstieg with its variety of delicious restaurants.
The beaches at the pier are 2 kilometres away, a distance that’s easy to cover by bike or on foot.

Fun and Cultural Activities
In addition to various activities for children within a 15-minute drive (Hansapark, Grömitz Zoo, Karl’s Strawberry Farm), adults will also find plenty to enjoy. Many different water sports are available in the harbour or on the beach. And for culture lovers, the Eutin Festival, the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, and the Folklore Festival in Neustadt are well-known highlights. Lübeck, Fehmarn, and Hamburg are also easily accessible for day trips.

IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING THE TOURIST TAX
A tourist tax of €2.70 per day per adult aged 18 and older (€1.60 during the off-season from October to April) is payable upon arrival. Currently, we can only accept CASH payments for this.
