Large, beautiful house "La Batterie". 4 km from the centre of Port-en-Bessin, 4 km from the centre of Bayeux, 1 km from the sea. Private: property 900 m2 (fenced), beautiful terraced garden with wildlife garden and flowers, meadow, courtyard. In the house: storage room for bicycles. Parking (for 3 cars) on the premises. Shop 100 m, supermarket 4 km, bus stop "Manvieux Mairie" 3 km, sandy beach 4 km pebble beach 1 km.
"La Batterie", 4-room house 145 m2 on 2 levels. Object suitable for 5 adults + 2 children. Beautiful and stylish furnishings: living/dining room with open-hearth fireplace (only for decoration), dining table, satellite TV, radio, CD-player and DVD. Exit to the garden. Open kitchen (oven, dishwasher, 3 gas rings, toaster, kettle, microwave, freezer, electric coffee machine, Capsules for coffee machine (Machine expresso)). Shower, sep. WC. Upper floor: 1 room with 1 french bed (160 cm). 1 room with 1 sofabed and 1 french bed (140 cm). 1 room with 1 x 2 bunk beds (90 cm, length 190 cm). Shower, sep. WC, double hand-basin. Oil heating. Wooden floors. Terrace roofed. Terrace furniture, barbecue. Facilities: washing machine, dryer, iron, children's high chair, baby cot. Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: non-smoking house. BEAUTIFUL PROPERTY WITH CHARACTER.

We enjoyed a lovely, relaxing week's holiday in this charming cottage. The owners were very welcoming and friendly, and the cottage is really lovely! Large and spacious, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The rooms have a lot of character, with ornaments and traditional French bits and pieces everywhere. Gorgeous houseplants too! The kitchen is the central part of the house, with a large table for leisurely meals, and everything you need to prepare them. My only small criticism here is that all the cupboards are full of crockery, pans, utensils etc, and we could have done with a couple left empty to put our foodstuffs in. Nice large fridge/freezer though. So maybe a few less ornaments and a little more storage room. A beautiful old stone staircase leads to the bedrooms, which are very spacious and comfortable, with nice firm beds and huge traditional wardrobes. The showers are clean and powerful. The main attraction is a really beautiful large garden, with loads of lovely flowers, trees and shrubs, interesting decorations, a lovely covered seating area with table, outdoor large table and chairs set, brick barbeque and sun loungers. Really natural and pretty, and so well maintained by the owners. Also plenty of parking at the gravelled front, with another table and chairs in this suntrap, and a gate for privacy. We felt very welcomed by the owners, who were next door if we needed them, but gave us full privacy. We would definitely recommend, and return!

Schöner Urlaub in der Normandie

Die Unterkunft war wie im Portfolio angegeben und mit viel Liebe eingerichtet Die Vermieter waren sehr herzlich und haben uns zur Begrüßung eine Flasche Cidre und selbst gemachte Marmelade bereitgestellt. Jedem Problem wurde ein offenes Ohr geschenkt und man war immer bestrebt uns den Urlaub zu angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Gerne immer wieder in diese Unterkunft, in einer schönen und geschichtsträchtigen Gegend. Nur das Wetter hätte besser seien können

1 Woche bei Pierre und Michel. Sehr herzlich im Umgang, immer hilfsbereit und Empfang mit Blumenstrauß, Cidre und selbstgemachter Marmelade. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt und war für uns schon fast ein zu Hause! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Sehr schönes Feriendomizil!

Wir haben drei erlebnisreiche Wochen in dieser geschichtsträchtigen Gegend verbracht und den 79. D-Day gemeinsam mit den Dorfbewohnern von Longues gefeiert. Das Ferienhaus ist stilvoll und funktional eingerichtet. Haus und Garten sind sehr gepflegt. Herzlicher Empfang mit Blumenstrauß, einer Flasche Cidre und selbst gemachter Marmelade. Die Vermieter Pierre und Jean-Michel sind sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und immer ansprechbar. Das Haus ist sehr empfehlenswert!! Gudrun und Peter

Sehr nette Vermieter mit einem tollen Garten und sehr gut ausgestattet. Zur Begrüßung gab's Konfitüre und wurden zu einem Aperitif mit Snacks eingeladen. Waren hilfsbereit und stets ansprechbar. Haben uns 2 Wochen sehr wohl und gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Unsere beiden Hunde fühlten sich auch wohl. Gerne immer wieder.

Jederzeit wieder!

Ein sehr schönes Haus mit viel Platz, besonders in der großen Küche. Das waren sehr intensive zwei Wochen, die auch für die beiden 14jährigen Jungs nie langweilig wurden. Viele Besichtigungsmöglichkeiten, Strandsegeln und Paragliding, und wir freuten uns immer wieder, in dieses einladende Haus zurückzukehren.

Eigenaar is een oplichter en een geldwolf

Huis is totaal niet wat er van verwacht kan worden. slecht meubilair en douches bijvoorbeeld. daarnaast is de eigenaar een oplichter en een geldwolf om over de rug van de klant extra kosten te verrekenen die niet terecht zijn. Ik zou dit object absoluut niet boeken. Schandalig.

Comme à la maison !

Gîte spacieux et très agréable. Idéal pour des vacances en famille. La maison est soignée et très propre, très fonctionnelle avec un joli jardin entretenu. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l'accueil de notre hôte ( petit bouquet de roses du jardin en arrivant et pots de confitures !). Nous avons eu beaucoup de mal à quitter cette maison tant elle est agréable.

Wij werden zeer vriendelijke ontvangen en bijgestaan door onze gastheer. Het huis is zeer verzorgd en netjes. alle noodzakelijke zaken zijn aanwezig. De ligging is perfect voor de mensen die de volledige Normandische kust en de landingsstranden willen verkennen. Niets dan positieve dingen.

We werden ontvangen door de heel vriendelijke eigenaar. Het is een rustieke vakantiewoning met alle hedendaags comfort. De kwaliteit van de bedden is uitstekend. Een ideale locatie om de stranden van de landing van 06/1944 te verkennen. Een aanrader.
