The state-recognized climatic health resort of Waren is located directly on Lake Müritz in charming surroundings. It is also the tourist hub of the Mecklenburg Lake District.

Attractions include the historic old town, the harbour with passenger boat tours, an adjacent promenade, and numerous dining options, as well as the Müritzeum, a nature discovery centre featuring a huge freshwater aquarium and exhibits on the unique features of the Mecklenburg Lake District.

The town also features outdoor swimming pools, boat and bike rentals, a surfing and sailing school, and plenty of shopping options. Waren serves as the gateway to the Müritz National Park, which is ideal for exploring via the well-developed network of bike paths. The nearest highway exit is approximately 25 km away.

The holiday rental, which has a separate entrance, is located on the lower level of the landlord’s house within a quiet residential area in the Warenshof district and is approximately 3.2 km from city centre. Two restaurants and direct bus and train service to Waren/Müritz are located in the residential area. The nearest shopping area is about 1.5 km away. It takes about 5 minutes by car to reach the Volksbad (a supervised beach) and about 10 minutes to reach the Old Town.

Apartment amenities:
Living room with upholstered furniture (also suitable for extra beds), dining area, cable TV, stereo system, bedroom (2 beds, cot available), the separate kitchen is fully equipped, shower/toilet, central heating.

Included: bed linens, towels, heating, water, and utilities.

Outdoor facilities: various loungers and seating areas, grill, ping-pong table, and a heated swimming pool (7.5 m x 3.5 m and 1.50 m deep) available for shared use from May through September (depending on the outside temperature).

Two bicycles can be rented upon request (for a fee).

There is a playground for children across the street from our house.
