Breathtaking views for this recent 300 square meters storey villa surrounded by 200 square meter terraces and a 5000 m2 garden and large swimming pool. Fully equipped, 5 recent bathrooms, nice decoration, gorgeous pool with view on the baou ( mountain in provencal language). Ideal for quiet environment lovers family vacation. 20 minutes from Nice airport, 5 minutes from Vence center, close to Saint Paul de Vence and all cultural villages. 10 minutes from the sea, few minutes away from great trekking paths and 45 minutes from Monte Carlo and the Italian border. A luxurius 5 stars hotel, the Chateau saint Martin is within walking distance (5 minutes) and offers a first class spa and tennis courts. Horse riding within 10 minutes.
Though it is likely you will want to stay home and enjoy the beautiful garden, its cyprus and olive trees and the beautiful pool.
The villa has high speed internet, fully equipped kitchen with 2 dishwashers, full laundry with washer and dryer, large cabled television. The villa is totally secure, entirely fenced and equipped with an alarm device.

Fantastic location and property

The villa and gardens, including the superb swimming pool were all fantastic. Some of the crockery particularly the mugs were showing signs of age and use, but otherwise the villa was well equipped and the Housekeeper Marie was welcoming and helpful, so was the gardener. We had a fantastic stay, thank you all.

Heerlijk huis!! Huisdiervriendelijk, erg ruim met genoeg slaapkamers en badkamers. Mooie tuin met prachtig uitzicht en een heerlijk zwembad. Niks dan lof voor deze plek. Zeker een aanrader!

Wir waren zu neunt, 6 Erwachsene, 2 Teenager und ein Kleinkind im Haus. Es gab für alle ausreichend Platz, das Haus ist sehr geräumig sind groß mit einem wunderschönen Ausblick aus dem Wohnzimmer aufs Meer und einem beeindruckenden Ausblick auf den Hausberg aus dem Esszimmer. Die Lage ist für einen vielfältigen Urlaub ideal, egal ob wandern, shoppen, Strand oder Stadtbummeln. Die Küche ist vielseitig ausgestattet, allerdings sind die Schubladen nicht sehr sauber und das Geschirr sehr abgenutzt. Der Garten ist ein Traum für Kinder und Hund. Den Pool konnten wir leider nicht nutzen weil es noch zu kalt war. Allen in allem haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und die Hausbesitzerin war sehr zuvorkommend und hat sogar für unser 1-jähriges Kind einen neuen Hochstuhl gekauft.

Schönes Haus für 8 Personen mit wunderbarem Blick in Richtung Meer

Als wir am Huas ankamen, waren dieVerwalter vorort und haben uns sehr freundliche begüßt. Herr und Frau Rudel haben uns das Haus und die Zimmer gezeigt. Die 3 sehr großzügige Zimmer,mit Zugang zum Garten und breiten Doppelbetten hatten zwar Schrankmöbel, allerdings mit Dingen der Eigentümer voll und nicht sauber. Das 4. Zimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten war für 2 Erwachsene ok. Auch hier waren die Schränke mit Utensilien der Eigentümer bestückt. Das 5.Zimmer sah bei Ankunft aus wie eine Rumpelkammer. Zwar war die Ausziehcoutch für eine Person,mit Leintuch, einem Kissen und einer Decke bezogen,eine 2.erwachsene Person fand in dieser Schlafgelegenheit keinen Platz. Der kleine Sekretär war mit allerhand Zeug vom Eigentümer bestückt und nicht sauber. 3 Stehlampen und kaputtes Möbel standen im kleinen Raum. Marie und Pierre Rudel haben alles schnell ausgeräumt. Als Schlafgelegenheit nutzten wir eine mitgebrachte Luftmatratze und das eigene Bettzeug, eigene Wolldecke. Im Zimmer konnte man sich nicht mehr bewegen. In den Duschbädern waren nicht für 10 Personen Handtücher gerichtet. Den Garten fanden wir gepflegt vor, genau wie das Schwimmbecken.Eine Garage hatten wir nicht zur Verfügung. Die Küche ist mit sehr vielen Utensilien ausgestattet. Allerdings mussten wir uns auch hier erst einmal Platz für unsere Einkäufe schaffen und für Sauberkeit sorgen. Unseren Urlaub hat das Ehepaar Marie und Pierre Rudel gerettet. Wir wurden Abends mit unserem Wunschessen lecker bekocht.

Souvenirs mémorables !

Nous avons passé deux semaines en famille en Août dans cette maison très agréable à vivre et très bien équipée et ou le temps s'est arrêté. La distribution de la maison, la situation, le jardin et la piscine nous on permis de passer deux semaines inoubliables, dans un cadre privilégié. Nous avons hâte de nous y retrouver à nouveau.

En flott eiendom

Vi var tre familier som tilbrakte en uke sammen; foreldre, barn og barnebarn. Huset er pent, stort og romslig. Vi spiste alle måltidene ute. Det er en fantastisk utsikt fra uteplassen. En stor plen ga mulighet for lek med barna. Svømmebassenget ble mye brukt. "The house keeper" Marie og Pierre tok oss vennlig i mot og orienterte oss om nødvendige ting. Wonderful Stay!

This was a family celebration, and we had a wonderful time! Communication with the owner was great. The caretakers, Marie and Pierre, certainly get an A+ job for being so engaged in meeting all our needs, including preparing the house for our arrival, greeting us, answering questions, giving us tips about the area, and so on.

typical French Provence house, amazing view

the house is large, well equipped, the pool is made of mosaic and water is blue. From the terrace we had an astonishing panoramic view over Saint Paul de Vence, going until the sea. It is a mix between the landscape you want and the comfort that you deserve.

Magnifique maison en Provence

C'est une maison magnifique sur hauteurs de Vence. La vue depuis l'une des terrasses est spectaculaire, donnant à la fois sur la ville et sur la mer. La maison est dotée de tout le confort moderne, la cuisine très bien équipée. Le jardin est joli et très bien entretenu. La propriété est à proximité de nombreux villages charmants et de musées (Picasso, Léger...). J'y ai passé un séjour de rêve et recommande vivement cet endroit pour des séjours en famille ou entre amis!

Un séjour de rêve sur la côte d'Azur

Nous avons passé une semaine de rêve entre amis, dans cette maison très confortable et parfaitement équipée. La décoration intérieure est contemporaine et agréable, l'organisation de l'espace est très pratique, la vue est époustouflante. Nous avons pu profiter avec joie de la piscine, du barbecue, de la télévision écran plat HD avec maintes chaînes. L'emplacement idéal de la maison permet d'être à la fois au calme et d'être proche des lieux touristiques incontournables de cette si belle région...!

Séjour fantastique et reposant

Je ne connaissais cette magnifique région de France, dépaysante et riche de nouvelles découvertes et proche de la nature. La maison est fonctionnelle et confortable, dotée d'un jardin extrêmement bien entretenu et pleins d'oliviers. Le calme et la tranquillité règnent dans cette villa familiale, tandis que les activités incontournables de la Côté d'Azur sont à seulement quelques kilomètres de la maison.

A perfect hideout near lovely Saint Paul de Vence

I loved my stay in this charming Provence style house. Beautiful terrace with magnificent view, nice pool with crystal cler water, very comfortable and large rooms and living space, quiet and absolutely private. The house is very well equipped and located in a lovely area of the Côte d'Azur right outside the old beautiful village Saint Paul de Vence. Everything one dreams of in the French Riviera !

Fantastic villa with stunning views

A wonderful escape in this villa very comfortable for a group of friends, very we'll equipped, with different charming places to stay, talk, rest , admire the view,enjoy the life. Confortable and arty , fantastic pool.Close to Amtibes for sea bathing in a preserved environment, and close to Saint Paul and it's galleries. Nice host, very easy to deal with. We will com back again

Why they chose this property

This property was bought by my grandfather in the early 1950's because of the exceptional climate and quality of the air in this place. He had been wounded as a war hero and suffered amphysema. He used to go every year to the Chateau Saint Martin, a luxury resort hotel, that still exists. When the hotel closed for renovation, he bought the house which has remained in the family since then. In 2006, we undertook total renovation of the house to make it comfortable and modern.

What makes this property unique

Exceptional situation, in protected nature environment, stunning views. Close to culture, riviera social life, good restaurants, the sea, mountains, ski resorts and away from the Riviera crowds while accessible.
