Oceanfront w/ private beach access El Sargento/La Ventana, 3-4bd, 3 ba w/lockout

Breathtaking views of the Sea of Cortez.

A spacious 3-4 bedroom 3 bathroom, (plus outdoor shower) home with spectacular ocean views from almost every room. Well appointed. Rooms are large with high ceilings, ceiling fans, very large windows, views, and more views. Bedrooms are air conditioned as is the common living/dining/kitchen area.

Beach bodega (garage) with kayaks, paddle boards, snorkels etc. at beach level for guest use. Few homes in our area offer this luxury.

Internet service is included and quite good. Linens included. Not far from town, shopping and restaurants a very tranquil, peaceful location.

The white sand beach is the finest, cleanest beach in La Ventana/El Sargento, walk for miles in either direction. Great launch for kiteboarding/windsurfing, snorkeling, stand up paddling, kayaking, or fishing. Gentle water access for children or oldsters. Use of 4 paddle boards, snorkel gear, two single kayaks and one double kayak included. Sport fishing in this area is extraordinary and eco trips to the sea lion colony on Isla Cerralvo, whale watching or expeditions to swim with whale sharks in La Paz are easily arranged.(Boats can pick you up on the beach).

A newly remodeled, well equipped kitchen with granite counters makes food preparation easy. Private interior courtyard, terraced ocean side decks. Private stairs to the broad beach and beach storage area. Kiting, winging and windsurfing are uncrowded here.

You'll be greeted in town by La Ventana Properties friendly staff and have local support for your stay.

We are in a quiet gated neighborhood with full time winter residents. Guests are asked to respect the ambience of the neighborhood. Quiet hours after 10 p.m. (Baja Midnight) with exterior lights and music off.

Incredible time in paradise

I’ve been coming to La Paz/La Ventana for years. This property is amazing- you simply cannot beat the view and the location. Loved every aspect and can’t wait to return.

Best vacation ever

Wow, the picutes of this house, while amazing, dont even do the place justice. What a slice of heaven. Almost has a seaside Mediterranean feel. Very friendly and responsive host, all the ocean toys you could need and views for days. Safe feeling quiet neighborhood in one of the coolest Mexican towns we have checked out to date. We would highly recommend this spot to anyone, fit two small families with ease.

Wonderful home containing everything we needed to have an amazing time. The house was perfect for our family and friends and beach access and walkable to restaurants, kit surfing, ice cream made it that much better. The beach was quiet and chill with plenty of marine life to watch. Easy grocery and shopping access. We will be back!

Paradise

We had the best time at Julianne’s place; it is a little piece of paradise. Everything was perfect: comfortable rooms, large and well stocked kitchen, and of course the breathtaking location right by the beach with access to paddle boards and kayaks. We hope to come back!

Great Spot in La Ventana Area

This was our first stay at this property, but our 4th trip to the La Ventana area. The property was well equipped for our party of 4 adults and 4 children. Plenty of watersports gear and has probably the best reef for snorkeling and fishing ay a spot that I've stayed at in town.

Perfect blend of peaceful relaxation and fun

My family of 5 had a lovely time enjoying the views, going down to the beach everyday to paddle board, snorkel, swim and relax in the shade with a nice beeeze. The water is calm and clear, we saw dozens of different fish when snorkeling. Watch out for aguamala (jelly fish) during the warm months, 3 of us were stung! The kitchen is well stocked, beds are comfy, WiFi and AC works well. Plenty of places to go eat if you don’t want to cook.

Ticks Every Box.

Casa Colibri does exactly what it says on the tin. First the location is excellent. Private and quiet yet accessible and with great direct access to the beach and idyllic views. The house is ideal for 3 couples and fully equipped, so much so that we ended up enjoying eating every meal at the house. There is a Banda full of water sports toys and the shade on the beach is perfect. Julianna was always available and provided excellent directions and information. All in all great value for money and highly recommended.

Amazing stay!!

My friend and I rented this property for three nights and upon arrival, immediately extended for another night. The views and house itself are even better than the photos! The multiple patios - and of course the beach - were our favorite spots during the day and the roof top deck was our spot once the sun went down! The stars at night are out of this world. The ocean water is calm and refreshing and if being on the water is your thing multiple kayaks and SUPs are provided! We cooked in most days and were so pleased to have such a well stocked kitchen as well as a dishwasher! You won’t want to leave once you arrive so stock up on groceries at Oscaritos! Julianne was an amazing host and was very responsive and helpful!

Beautiful private home on the beach

If you’re looking for a quiet relaxing getaway on the beach, this is THE perfect location. The house is situated about an hour from La Paz in a very quiet fishing town. Depending on when this place is booked, kite surfing can be prominently seen. It is very hot and humid so the a/c is nice to cool off and relax for a bit. During the day when the breeze picks up, having the windows open and listening to the ocean breeze is soothing. The views in the home are spectacular. The beach is situated down a series of stairs; however, very private. Clear waters with great snorkeling, SUP, or kayaking most mornings. Lots of places to lay out, relax, have drinks, or even dinner with beautiful views on the property. The owner is very personable and answered any questions as well as was able to share any additional insights/tips/recommendations on the trip (such as where to eat, get groceries, etc). We were able to eat vegan but relied heavily on groceries and cooking meals at the house. We were thankful for the advice on where to shop and the limited but nice vegan options. Our family loved the property and location. We hope to return in the future as it was just a perfect getaway.

Stay here, you won't be sorry!

Our family has stayed in many beach locations all over the world, but this is by far one of the absolute best houses and locations we've ever stayed in. We felt a sense of calm as soon as we walked in the door, and the pictures in the listing do not do it justice. There are full ocean views from almost every room! The house was very clean, and it is WELL STOCKED. There are spices, condiments, and every cooking utensil or dish you could want. The fourth bedroom has its own entrance and bathroom separate than the house, great for separate families, grandparents, or friends. The beach was beautiful, and the ocean was warm! The beach garage had everything we needed, and made enjoying the ocean so easy. Be aware that there are a lot of stairs to go down to the beach, which might be harder for young children or people with mobility issues. The town felt so safe, and so much less "touristy" than anywhere else we've been in Mexico. Our 14 & 11 year old went in the bakery and coffee shop by themselves, and we weren't worried at all. Las Palmas was our favorite restaurant, but there are some restaurants that weren't open yet. Be aware that if you come before November 1st, the "season" hasn't started, and your options for food and activities will be more limited. I can honestly say that this is one of the only places we've been that we will absolutely come back to. Julie was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. Highly recommend this house!

This property was a dream! Incredible beach access with convenient storage right off the beach. A reef just 15 yards offshore was teeming with sea life—perfect for snorkeling. Ideal launch spot for wing foiling and kite surfing. The hosts were gracious and quick to respond. Our group will absolutely be back!

Hands down the BEST!!! In love with this rental!

Absolutely in love with this rental! It's even more beautiful than the photos show. The house has plenty of room and is well equipped for your stay. The multiple outdoor patios, including the rooftop, were perfect to enjoy the beautiful sunrise and sunset - and spy on the adorable little fox family living nearby! Everything was clean and comfortable! The view from the master bedroom was spectacular! The beach storage and equipment was an added bonus (kayaks, snorkel, paddle boards, etc.) Fishing was incredible and the beach was quiet and tranquil! We did run out of water and had problems opening the beach storage - but Julianne was phenomenal. She was incredibly responsive and so pleasant! We had no problems COVID testing at the airport when we departed MX. (No lines, arrived about 3.5 hours before our flight.) We WILL be back to Casa Colbri! Thank you for an amazing vacation!

Doesn’t get much better

This house has everything you will want or need to relax and enjoy your stay. Host provides a ton of information as well and is responsive to email or phone call. The snorkeling is great, the beach is empty and the neighborhood is quiet. We were grateful for the AC as it was quite hot in mid June. The view from every room in this house is spectacular and the rooftop is divine. The lounging options outside and in are many and all comfortable. Great house!!

Amazing week on Sea of Cortez

This house is the ideal location for a relaxing week on the Sea of Cortez. Stunning views great you from all over the house; from the main bedroom, the kitchen, the spacious back patio and even the rooftop. A beach-level garage has all of the toys for the sea you could hope for: multiple kayaks and paddle boards, snorkeling equipment, kids toys and chairs. Even at the end of a week there the stunning sunrise and sunset views just didn't get old. Though other houses are in this neighborhood, we didn't run into another person our entire week at the house. So many times at the end of a vacation I'm kind of looking forward to wrap up the trip and head home, this was not the case at all here, where I just didn't want to tear myself away from this gorgeous destination.

Great place!

Wonderful time had by entire family. The house was perfect and the kids really enjoyed paddle boarding snorkeling and walking along the beach. Super responsive hosts. Will definitely stay here again!

Perfect Windsports Location

Beautiful location and house. Numerous indoor and outdoor seating areas...shaded and sunny. SUP and kayaks make this house better than many of the other local options. Perfect kite beach. We would snorkel and SUP in the mornings and kite in the afternoons. We would definitely go back.

Gorgeous views, kiting, paddleboarding, and beach

We (family of 5 (3 generations)) loved our stay at Casa Colibri. My husband kited 2 sessions on most windy days. On the calmer mornings, we snorkeled or paddleboarded in the super clear turquoise water. The house was wonderful, clean, and quiet. However, if you like to sleep past sunrise, bring an eye mask. We're already looking forward to returning next year!
