Vacation home with thatched roof - HOL - FH Reetdach Waase

A warm welcome to my holiday home on the island of Ummanz, in the tranquil village of Waase, on the edge of the Boddenlandschaft National Park—idyllically situated between Rügen and Hiddensee and easily accessible by car via a bridge.

You’ll have exclusive use of our thatched-roof house. It is furnished primarily with solid wood furniture. The living room and bedrooms feature hardwood floors. There are two separate bedrooms, each with a double bed (160x200 cm); one bedroom has space for one portable cot. The cottage includes a living room, kitchen, and bathroom with a shower. With approximately 90 square metres of space on the ground floor, we offer plenty of room for up to 4 people. Please bring your own bed linens and towels, or book our linens package (bed linens, one small and one large towel; bath and beach towels are not included). One small dog is allowed (for a fee). Bed linens and towels are not included in the price and can be added as an option for 10.00 euros per person. 

Right in front of the house entrance, you’ll find a wooden deck with patio furniture; the garden and grill are perfect for winding down the day in comfort. A storage room for bicycles is available.

The partially natural property, with a large lawn and mature trees, covers over 1,400 square metres and is situated in a completely quiet location on the outskirts of town. In the village of Waase on the island of Ummanz, you’ll find: bike and boat rentals, an electric vehicle charging station, swimming spots, a horse farm (Haflinger breeding), a church with a world-famous carved altar, a pottery studio, a surf school and a surf hostel, as well as excellent opportunities for hiking, walking, jogging, and fishing. Nature lovers can enjoy extensive wildlife viewing; especially in the fall, thousands of migrating cranes and wild geese often stop here to rest, and dense forests invite you to go mushroom hunting.



FH Reetdach Waase:

You can access the holiday home from the garden via the terrace. All rooms are on the ground floor. A large entryway awaits you. Off the entryway is the bathroom with a shower and toilet, as well as the separate kitchen, which is fully equipped (dishwasher, washing machine [free of charge], microwave, refrigerator/freezer, electric stove/ceramic cooktop/oven, electric kettle, coffee maker, toaster). The large, bright living room is furnished with a comfortable couch, TV, and dining table. There are two separate bedrooms, each with a double bed. A cot can be set up in one of the bedrooms (please bring your own).

The natural garden invites you to enjoy pleasant hours outdoors; a grill and four lounge chairs are provided. You can park your car directly on the property. You can also store bicycles in an adjacent shed. Near water (up to 1 km). Free Wi-Fi at 50 MB (speeds may vary).



Check-in is from 3:00 to 6:00 PM, and check-out is from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
