Malmö house in Ulsnis with barrel sauna

A cosy, traditionally furnished Swedish-style house for 4–5 people in the small village of Ulsnis in the Schlei region. The 65 square metres of living space feature three tastefully furnished bedrooms and a large living and dining area with an open kitchen. All bedrooms and the patio door are equipped with fly screens. In the living area, the spacious sofa invites you to relax in front of the wood-burning stove. Wi-Fi and a TV are, of course, available, as well as a collection of games and light holiday reading. The dining area seats six people; a TrippTrapp high chair is also provided. In addition to a dishwasher and a large refrigerator with three freezer compartments, the kitchen is fully equipped so you can enjoy cooking and spending quality time together.
The shower room is equipped with a cosmetic mirror, hair dryer, towel warmer, and shower stool.
Through the large sliding door, you can access the covered patio directly from the living room, which invites you to relax and unwind. A gas grill is available next to the dining table.
You can reach the barrel sauna via a small bridge that spans the garden pond. Next to the sauna, which features an outdoor shower, is the sun terrace with lounge chairs for relaxation. If you’d like to use the sauna, we’ll be happy to provide towels for you.
There’s space in the garden shed to store your bicycles.
You can park your car right next to the house on the fenced-in property.
One small dog weighing up to approximately 10 kg is allowed.We charge 20€ for your four-legged friend.
Smoking is not permitted inside the house.

Upon request, we can provide bed linens and towel packages for an additional fee. (€25 per set)
If desired, please order your firewood in advance. €10 per bag
A final cleaning fee is mandatory.

The swimming area with a shower and children’s playground, as well as the boat dock, are approximately 800 metres away. Thanks to the shallow, sandy beach, the swimming area is particularly suitable for families. A dog beach is located about 300 metres further away.

The Schlei region offers all kinds of water sports and a wide variety of hiking and biking trails. In 2024, the region was recognised for its SMILE24 mobility concept.
There are extensive shopping opportunities in Schleswig, Süderbrarup, and Kappeln. For daily necessities, the MarktTreff Schleidörfer is located in neighbouring Brodersby.
Numerous cafés and restaurants are located along the beautiful Schlei.

What makes the region—and especially our house, which is situated on the edge of the holiday home community towards the Schlei—so special, however, is the absolute tranquility. The night, free from light pollution, impresses with a fabulous starry sky.
