Camping La Vecchia Torre is located in Apulia on the beautiful Salento coast, just 3.5 km from the charming port town of Gallipoli. The resort is beautifully nestled in a dense pine forest; the gorgeous sandy beach is accessible directly from the resort after a short walk through the pine forest. The resort’s amenities include: a varied entertainment programme for adults and children with daytime and evening activities (during peak season), a kids’ club, game room, tournaments, dance nights, beach volleyball, tennis, mini-golf, a restaurant and a pizzeria with takeaway service, a supermarket, a general store, and a newsstand, communal washing machines, and bike, scooter, and boat rentals (some services may incur a fee).
The Happy Comfort mobile home accommodates up to 5 people. The accommodation consists of one bedroom with a double bed and one bedroom with two single beds. The upholstered seating area in the living room provides additional sleeping space. The kitchenette is also located in the living area and features a 4-burner gas stove, dishes, silverware, pots, and a refrigerator with a freezer compartment. The bathroom is equipped with a toilet, a shower, and a sink (in some mobile homes, the toilet is located in a separate room). The partially covered outdoor area is furnished with a table and chairs, as well as two loungers or deck chairs and an electric grill. If you need more than one unit, this is usually possible with us, as we have several units of the same style.
ARRIVAL DATE + LENGTH OF STAY
Please refer to the calendar for the arrival and departure dates as well as the minimum length of stay during your desired season. Note: If, for any reason, you are unable to arrive on the scheduled arrival date, check-in on the following day is of course possible (please notify us before arrival). The same applies if you wish to depart early; in this case, departure on the previous day is also possible. However, the rental period and price specified at the time of booking remain unchanged.
BEACH
A natural, gently sloping sandy beach is just 200 metres away. Alternatively, beautiful beaches with beach facilities (bars, showers, and sun loungers and umbrellas) are just a few minutes’ drive away.
FAMILY-FRIENDLY
A cot and high chair are available upon request and for a fee. During the summer months, an extensive entertainment programme with a mini-club for children is offered. The nearby gently sloping sandy beach, the game room, and the resort’s sports facilities leave nothing to be desired.
LEISURE AND SPORTS
In addition to the nearby sandy beach, two swimming pools are available. Other sports activities include: sports tournaments, tennis, beach volleyball, and football. Evening entertainment includes shows, activities, music, and dancing. For a fee: bike rental.
SHOPPING
The resort features a supermarket, a general store, and a newsstand. You’ll find additional shopping options in the neighbouring towns of Padula Bianca and Gallipoli.
MEALS
The accommodation features a well-equipped kitchen. Alternatively, you can enjoy a meal at the resort’s restaurant/pizzeria or at nearby local restaurants.
PETS
Pets are not allowed.

SPECIAL INFORMATION
The tenant is responsible for final cleaning. Cleaning supplies such as brooms, mops, etc., are provided. The accommodation is inspected afterwards to ensure they are clean. In the event of any complaints, a cleaning fee may be charged. High chairs and travel cots must be requested at the time of booking (for a fee as specified in the additional costs) or reported no later than 1 week before arrival (later requests cannot be guaranteed). Groups of young people aged 18–25 must be registered in advance. Confirmation of these bookings is at the discretion of the campground. The same guests who checked in upon arrival must remain until the end of their stay. Changes to the registered guests or the number of registered guests are not permitted.

The Camping la Vecchia Torre resort is located in Apulia in S. Maria al Bagno; the well-known port city of Gallipoli is just 3.5 km away. The city of Lecce is 40 km away, and Brindisi Airport is 85 km away.
CITY AND SURROUNDINGS
Salento is the name of a peninsula 100 km long and 40 km wide in the far southeast of Italy; it is often referred to as the “heel” of the Italian boot. The region captivates visitors with its beautiful beaches featuring crystal-clear seawater, rugged cliffs, and picturesque villages that invite you to explore. Gallipoli is a charming little port town with colourful house facades, historic buildings and churches, and many winding alleyways lined with restaurants, bars, and shops. Enjoy the stunning panorama while strolling along the promenade with a view of the colourful fishing boats. The larger city of Lecce is famous for its Baroque architecture, the cathedral, the Basilica of Santa Croce, and a partially excavated Roman amphitheatre. The port city of Brindisi is also worth a visit, with its beautiful harbour promenade, restaurants, and historic alleyways.
