Lido di Sesto is located in Sesto Calende (VA), right on the picturesque shores of the Ticino River and Lake Maggiore, in the heart of the Parco Ticino nature reserve. The campground is just a few steps from the lakeshore, making it ideal for water sports and relaxation. The campground features a swimming pool with an adjacent sun deck equipped with lounge chairs and umbrellas (use for a fee). Other amenities include: canoe, SUP, and motorboat rentals; bike rentals; a bar; a restaurant-pizzeria; and a coin-operated laundry.
The Happy Easy mobile home accommodates up to 6 people (including at least 1 child under 12 years of age). The accommodation consists of one bedroom with a double bed and one bedroom with two single beds and a bunk bed for a child under 12 years of age. Mosquito nets are provided in the bedrooms. The sofa in the living area can be converted into an additional sleeping space if needed. The kitchenette is also located in the living area and features a 4-burner gas stove, dishes, silverware, pots, a refrigerator with a small freezer compartment, and a sink. The bathroom is equipped with a toilet, a shower, and a sink. The partially covered wooden deck is furnished with a table and chairs, as well as two lounge chairs or deck chairs and an electric grill. If you need more than one accommodation, this is usually possible with us, as we have several properties of the same style.
ARRIVAL DATE + LENGTH OF STAY
Please check the calendar for the arrival and departure dates as well as the minimum length of stay for your desired season. Note: If, for any reason, you are unable to arrive on the scheduled arrival date, you may of course check in the following day (please notify us before arrival). The same applies if you wish to depart early; in this case, departure on the previous day is also possible. However, the rental period and price specified at the time of booking remain unchanged.
BEACH
The holiday village is located directly on Lake Maggiore and, as one of the resorts within the Parco Ticino Nature Reserve, offers direct access to a long beach with a mix of grass, rocks, and fine sand near the water. This makes the beach the perfect place to unwind while sunbathing, read a book, or simply relax while the children play in the sand or splash around in the water.
POOL
Here you’ll find a spacious pool area that offers plenty of swimming fun for both adults and children. Right next to the pool, a sun terrace with lounge chairs and umbrellas invites you to relax. For those who prefer the shade, there’s a green, shaded area that’s perfect for lingering. A nearby bar and restaurant area provides snacks and refreshments for the perfect pool experience.
FAMILY-FRIENDLY
We’ve got the whole family covered! Direct access to the fine-sand beach, a safe pool area, and a lovingly designed children’s playground make Lido di Sesto the perfect holiday destination. Nestled within a nature reserve, you’ll enjoy a peaceful and safe environment here. Bicycle and boat rentals are available for shared adventures, while nearby restaurants cater to your culinary needs.
LEISURE AND SPORTS
For active guests, Lido di Sesto offers a wide variety of sports and leisure activities. A bike rental service invites you to explore the beauty of Lake Maggiore and its surroundings. Water sports enthusiasts can choose from a selection of boats that don’t require a licence, including motorboats—ideal for discovering the lake on your own. The offerings are rounded out by a football field, table tennis, and beach games, ensuring there’s something for everyone.

DINING
The accommodation features a well-equipped kitchen. Alternatively, you can enjoy a meal at the resort’s restaurant/pizzeria or bar. You’ll find other restaurants serving local cuisine in Sesto Calende, just 1 km from the campground.
PETS
Pets are welcome if registered at the time of booking. Only one pet is allowed, and it must weigh no more than 35 kg. Guests are required to pay a 120-euro deposit when bringing a dog. If everything is in order upon departure, the guest will receive 100 euros of the deposit back, and 20 euros will go to the holiday park to cover additional cleaning costs.
SPECIAL INFORMATION
The guest is responsible for final cleaning. Cleaning supplies such as brooms, mops, etc., are provided. The accommodation is inspected afterwards to ensure they are clean. Any complaints will result in a charge of 50 euros. High chairs and travel cots must be requested at the time of booking (for a fee as specified in the additional costs) or must be requested no later than 1 week before arrival (later requests cannot be guaranteed). Youth groups aged 18–25 must be registered in advance. Confirmation of these bookings is at the discretion of the campground.
