Enjoy quiet relaxation at our beautiful lakeside cottage in North Central MA. About 90 minutes from either Boston, MA or Hartford, CT. Sleep 6 in 3 bedrooms on 1 queen bed, 1 double bed, and 2 twin beds. Spread out and enjoy the extra-large living room with working fireplace, spacious kitchen and dining area. Huge wrap-around screened-in porch provides a beautiful view of almost the entire 35 acre Packard Pond while providing insect-free dining/entertaining area with all the fresh air you could possibly want. Large wrap-around outdoor deck provides even more space for grilling, relaxing, and lounging. Cottage shares its own beach with one neighboring couple (the owners). It is 30 feet from this refreshing, deep, clean 'Massachusetts Great Pond' that allows boating, skiing, wakeboarding, sailing, fishing, kayaking, canoes, paddleboats, paddle boards, and of course swimming. We provide a paddleboat, two kayaks, and four adult life jackets. While guests may bring their own kayaks, paddleboards, and canoes if they wish, sorry, but they may not bring powerboats or motorboats. (While some property owners have motorboats, most are pontoon boats that motor quite slowly. There is very little boat traffic on this pond.) Sorry, but outdoor fires are not permitted. Fully stocked kitchen includes all dinnerware, stove, coffee maker, microwave, and gas grill. Washer, dryer, and dishwasher too! We provide linens and towels. Just bring your food, beach towels, and your water toys. Forget something? No worries. Grocery shopping, WalMart, fast food, and other necessities are less than 6 miles away! SORRY, BUT NO PETS, NO SMOKING, AND NO PARTIES! Very near to Tully Lake with its camping, picnic area, hiking, water activities, and disc golfing. There are several public 18 hole golf courses within 20 miles. Cable TV, WiFi, DVD player and games/puzzles galore. Don't miss out on this terrific vacation opportunity!!! PLEASE NOTE - This summer cottage has no heat source other than the fireplace. Sorry, but personal space heaters and air conditioners are NOT permitted. Our cottages are located in a quiet neighborhood. Small groups of visitors are allowed, but large groups or parties are not. Maximum overnight occupancy at this cottage is 6 persons (including all children). On rare occasions, additional overnight guests MAY BE allowed for one or two nights, but ONLY WITH PRIOR APPROVAL BY OWNER , and with an additional fee of $25 per person per night. UPON DEPARTURE TENANT MUST LEAVE COTTAGE AS YOU FOUND IT (All furniture must be returned to its original location.), AND IN BROOM CLEAN CONDITION. You must be 25 years old or older to rent this cottage. Sorry, but this cottage is not appropriate for children under the age of four because it is not child-proofed, and has the hazards of multiple staircases, and close proximity to water.
