Keys are picked up from a lockbox at the Kraushaar Holiday Rentals Service Office at Strandstraße 10, 24235 Laboe.

Current notice: From late May through mid-October 2026, the K30 between Laboe and Stein will be completely closed due to construction. Since your designated service office is located in Laboe, you can only continue on to Stein and Marina Wendtorf via the signposted detour.

High above Marina Wendtorf is the cosy one-room “Kajüte” apartment for up to 2 people in the Vogelzug building (Palstek 2b).

Let yourself be surprised and discover all the possibilities within 26 m². You’ll find a modern bathroom and a small kitchenette with a combination oven-microwave. Hidden beneath the designer flooring is underfloor heating, ensuring a pleasant indoor climate. The double bed (140 cm x 200 cm) is large enough for two people, and you can watch the large flat-screen TV from both the bed and the two comfortable armchairs.

You can reach the 4th floor, where the apartment is located, via the staircase or conveniently by lift, which stops directly across from the apartment. If you’d like to go even higher, you can access the rooftop terrace via the neighbouring building, Palstek 2a—connected by the hallway—to enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the marina, the beginning of the Kiel Fjord, and the Probstei region.

From Wendtorf, you can enjoy wonderful bike rides or hikes along the coast or through the enchanting salt marshes with sheep, cows, and horses. At the marina, you can charter a motorboat if you have a valid recreational boat licence. The neighbouring town of Stein is within easy walking distance, while Laboe is accessible by bike. In the summer, you can grab light snacks right at the marina, and fresh fish is available straight from the fishing boat. Let the fresh breeze blow through your hair—for example, on a bike ride. Enjoy a holiday on the Baltic Sea with wonderful views. Young and old alike can let off steam in the new indoor play paradise. Adventurers are drawn to the black-light indoor adventure golf course. If you’d rather get a taste of city life, you can be in the state capital, Kiel, in no time.

You’ll find a public parking space in front of the house. There’s a place to park your own or rented bicycles right at the house. A washing machine is available for your personal use.

Would you like to bring your dog on holiday? One dog is welcome to stay for an additional fee. Please understand that this holiday rental is a smoke-free property.
