We are delighted to welcome you to a wonderful rental season, and we are sure that your stay at Villa Malou will be an unforgettable experience. Manager Lars Hougesen!

Large exclusive villa
Between cannes and neighboring picturesque village of mougins, close to golf, tennis and high class restaurants for short or long term rent or sale.
The villa is situated 5 minutes from a8, the motorway connecting
Aix en Provence, and the Italian border. Five minutes from Cannes, and twenty minutes to nice, in the secluded and quiet hameau de gullet!
The actual buildings include the villa itself, two floors and 350m2, five bedrooms (three master), three bathrooms, large living, and two smaller adjoining rooms, dining room, and a large kitchen with all the modern facilities-and a separate 43m2 guest-wing with living-room, kitchen, bath-room and bed-room.!

Air condition in all bed-rooms.
Exclusive swimming-pool (heated) with overflow ”to two lower levels”, spa/jacuzzi, and a large pool-house with separate bar, kitchen, sauna, shower-cabinet, etc…
Wireless internet (lan)-connection, and flat screen TV, are installed in all bedrooms, living-rooms, bath-rooms etc..
For protection a 24-hour alarm system has been installed, with cameras all around the living-areas, connected directly to the police!

The garden
Covers approximately 6.500m2-the”old forest-like pattern' has been kept, mixed with palm-trees (measuring 2 to 3 meters on
Average),bushes and flowers.

The whole area has been laid out according to professional-planning-the entire land has been illuminated with ”fiber optic lighting installation, installed all over the garden, lighting up the buildings, the drive-way to the villa, and the swimming-pool area, and throughout the entire area!
The location of the house and property is superb for movies, conferences,
Receptions and large or small parties.
If you want to arrange a “party” in connection with renting, villa Malou offers different facilities for up to 50 adults. It is possible to entertain 300 people at the property, but then the price has to be discussed.
Once a week the pool will be cleaned, and a gardener will be provided. If there is anything we can do for you, just ask us, and we will do our best to fulfill your requests!

Paradisiaque

Villa immense déjà ancienne qui devait être super moderne à son époque nichée dans un parc fabuleux vegetation et équipements de repos. Équipée pour recevoir la villa est unique. Habitué des beaux lieux gràce à mon métier nous avons passé 15 jours d exception ou tout le monde je pense en a bien profité. Contact direct aussi avec le propriétaire qui est aussi quelqu un de très bien, confiance totale.

Notre séjour à Mougins du 18/05 au 29/05.

A nos très chers Lars et (charmante) Anne-Lise, Je ne trouve pas les adéquates mots pour définir cet exceptionnel épisode de notre vie passée chez vous, au Domaine Malou (je ne l’appellerai pas « Villa »). Depuis notre arrivée, Alain d’« Azur Travel Road » avec son beau chapeau melon orange, nous a briefé sur l’atmosphère panoramique de cette fameuse « Côte d’Azur » et là, nous débarquons dans un voyage hors de ce monde. (D’ailleurs je recommanderai Alain à toutes mes connaissances, cela va de soi). Il nous a mis à l’aise après ce long voyage de New York en nous faisant un petit « sight-seeing ». Ce chic type fait histoire de guide touristique en plus qu’être un chauffeur de classe très stylée. Et puis , à notre arrivée à la propriété, le conte de fée démarre. J’avais un « valet service » que m’a fourni le propriétaire, à ma demande. Nos 8 valises ont été dirigées vers nos six chambres, déballées et rangées. Coupes de champagne à l’accueil. Alain reste parmi nous pour traduire de Français en Anglais. Lars, je tiens à vous remercier pour les deux soirées que vous nous avez organisées , surtout cette fameuse soirée Orientale: Cuisine Libanaise, danseuses de ventre et al. Mes invités, je pense qu’ils étaient tous là. Aussi, je pense qu’il y’avait encore de la place pour plus que les 120 qui étaient là. C’est comme ca que je vis, et grâce à ces personnages présentes dans ma vie et que j’ai rencontré dans mon passé, inclus vous et Anne-Lise et votre accueillante façon de nous offrir votre domaine durant la période du Festival de CANNES 2016. Quitter ce domaine après ces 14 jours, m’ont créé un énorme vide. Heureusement, qu’Alain, avec son charme d’intellectuel et humouristique, et toujours avec son chapeau melon orange (qu’il m’a offert d’ailleurs), nous a acheminé vers notre départ. Nous nous reverrons sûrement l’année suivante, pour une nouvelle histoire de fée. D’ici là, acceptez mes plus affectueux sentiments. De BRUXELLES, M. Et Mme A. VanDerHouben, et amis.

An exquisite lifetime experience!

Dear Mr and Mrs L. Hougesen, I am writing to thank you for the charming and heart-warming hospitality you brought Into our lives during our stay (unfortunately too short, 8 days not being enough !). Myself, being in event management, I really enjoyed along with my guests the efforts you went through in catering for these two speciai evenings, last June. You really made Paradise come true ! The food was excellent. You catered for an army, whereas we were only just over a hundred ! And your guitarist was way out of this planet ! Alain, the driver was such a courteous gentleman. I don’t know where he gets his talents from. (He just about knows everyone). It is hard these days to find a similar atmosphere in Washington. I look forward to that week in June 2017, and a lunch all five of us (Same restaurant. This time it’s on me – You know money is no object, for me !) My utmost regards to you and family, also Gerry the gardner. S. Amber and family.

Wonderful. Clean, Friendly and Nice!!

This was a mind blowing experience, quite different from what we are used to. We thought we had stepped into a wonderland when we arrived at Villa Malou. Our weeks stay was absolutely first class, and we felt so welcome, and taken care of in every way. The Villa and the kitchen and the bedrooms was so clean og delicate, so this was super duper. Villa, Illuminate Garden, Pool, and Pool House!

Hello my good people. We celebrated my 60th birthday at Villa Malou, and we were about 100 guests with live music and wonderful food and drinks, and it turned out to be the most wonderful birthday of my life. Thanks to the host and the hostess, Mr. Lars and Anne Lise Hougesen. You are two fantastic people, and we love you, and thank you from our hearts for everything that you've done for us. This fantastic Villa was originally designed and build in the 70`S By one of France`s most famous architects, and was later in 2003 renovated and rebuild, and designed by the present owner, Manager Lars
Hougesen from Denmark.
He is one of the most famous danish pioneers in design and fashion, and from the mid 70`s he started designing textiles in China and exporting them througout Scandinavia, and Europe. He is now the architect of the present Villa Malou . and he has designed the inside of the Villa with it`s fantastic arches and lighting, and the beautiful garden with it`s awesome and modern fiber optic lighting, and he is also the designer of the fantastic pool with it`s overflows and the wonderful spa. the pool House is also his own creation with a fully equipped kitchen, bar, and bath room, and sauna.

Why they chose this property

We have put a lot of hours and years to create this wonderful 'place' in the heart of Southfrance. you`ll never find a garden like this in the Cóte de Azur! IT`s like a 'Baby' for us! So why travel to Carribean when you can reach it in South of France?

What makes this property unique

The Villa, has from beginning, ment a lot to us! We saw a lot of possibilities! it`s a calm place with view to the mountains and the old village of Mougins. it`s close to all you inquire like: shops - sports- entertainment-museums - lessure a.s.o. you can even, stay in the Villa and enjoy a walk around the paths with hughs palm trees - stones and enjoy the beautiful lights, and of course the pool area.
