Right in the heart of East Frisia, near the North Sea coast with the East Frisian Islands and in
close proximity to the Dutch border, we founded the Hotel Preyt in 2022 and
recently renovated and refurbished it during the pandemic.
The Hotel Preyt has a long tradition. It is known that as early as 1780, there was a restaurant where people could relax. The current Hotel Preyt was built in 1927 by Mr. Martien Preyt. The section that now houses our conference room used to be a clothing store. 
In 2021, we fell in love with this historic gem and decided to combine history and modernity through the
renovation.
In addition to the new roof and the new outdoor area, it is undoubtedly the new, cosy
interior design and the tastefully renovated bathrooms that play a key role in
that our guests can feel completely at home here. The self-check-in option,
also offers you, as a guest, many advantages. Now, regardless of the time of day or language, you can check in quickly and conveniently around
the clock while still enjoying all the benefits of an outstanding hotel
.
We—and many East Frisians—are extremely happy that we were able to preserve this gem and bring it into the modern era
. At any rate, the overwhelming response to the reopening
in June 2023 has shown us just that.
Whether you’re wedding guests, business travellers, holidaymakers, corporate groups or conference attendees, cyclists
or just passing through, we’ve already delighted many guests with our holiday apartment and hotel rooms, and we hope to welcome you here soon as well!



Holiday Rental at Hotel Preyt:

Enjoy your stay in our newly renovated holiday rental. 
The holiday apartment features 3 bedrooms, 1 large bathroom with a shower and toilet, a guest bathroom, an open-concept kitchen-living area, and a large rooftop terrace.
Spread over two floors, the various bedrooms are available to you depending on the number of guests. 
In total, there are 8 sleeping spots available, plus 2 free travel cots for children up to 3 years old. 
Upon registration, you can book breakfast at our hotel for 15.00 euros per person. In the evening, our on-site Ristorante Milano is open for you to visit.

In the living and dining area, you’ll find an open kitchen with a dining area and a cosy L-shaped couch with a TV corner. From the living area, you can access the large rooftop terrace. The sleeping areas consist of one bedroom with a large double bed (180x200 cm) and an additional French bed (140x200 cm), another bedroom has two single beds (90x200 cm each), and the third bedroom has a double bed (180x200 cm). Each bedroom is equipped with a TV. The bedrooms are spread over two floors and can be reached via a staircase inside the holiday rental.
The modern bathroom features a walk-in shower, a toilet, and a washing machine and dryer. There is an additional guest bathroom. You can access the holiday rental through a separate entrance to our hotel.



Check-in is available from 3:00 to 00:00, and check-out is from 00:00 to 10:00.
