Your Little Haven of Happiness Welcome to the Little Haven of Happiness, a lovingly designed apartment on the outskirts of Gillenfeld, nestled in the heart of the idyllic Vulkaneifel. Here you’ll find peace, nature, and a little bit of magic—perfect for anyone who wants to unwind, recharge, or simply let their mind wander.
Our small holiday apartment sleeps 2 and is equipped with everything you need for a relaxing getaway. A place to arrive and feel at home.
Right outside the door, the famous maars (especially the nearby Pulvermaar, 600 m away) invite you to go for walks, bike rides (Maare-Mosel Bike Trail, 300 m), or a dip in the cool water. In winter, the surroundings transform into a quiet snow-covered landscape—perfect for romantic moments both indoors and outdoors.
Whether you’re alone or with a partner: The “Kleine Glücksort” is the perfect starting point for exploring the Eifel and, at the same time, a peaceful retreat to take a deep breath and recharge your batteries.

On-site fees: If you’re bringing a pet (max. 1), please book it directly online (10 €/night). If this isn’t possible, please let us know in advance. The guest fee (formerly the visitor’s tax) for the Daun Municipal Association, amounting to 2.10 EUR per night for guests aged 18 and older, is already included in the total price. You will receive your guest card, along with the associated services and benefits, digitally or directly at the accommodation upon arrival.



Check-in is from 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., and check-out is from 12:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
