Built around 1480, the building is one of the historic treasures (a designated monument) of Schongau’s Old Town and has experienced a second heyday thanks to an extensive renovation carried out from 2024 to early 2025. As part of the renovation, the historic building was modernised with great attention to detail to preserve its historic charm while offering today’s comfort and amenities.

The result is four stylish, state-of-the-art holiday apartments in four categories. Each apartment combines contemporary amenities with historic elements, allowing you to enjoy comfort without sacrificing the unique character of the old building.

We offer exclusive amenities for all guests: The beds come from a renowned German hotel furnishings company whose products are manufactured in Germany—for maximum comfort and the best night’s sleep. The linens come from the Pahl weaving mill, which has been supplying top-tier hotels and private clinics for decades. Each apartment features a Nespresso Zenius machine.
