Our stay in La Rochell

We spent a lovely week in La Rochelle. The house was in a great location within walking distance to supermarkets restaurants and the harbour. Everything was there for our comfort. Having a garden was lovely.

Perfect stay

The comfort and the equipment of the apartment is very satisfying. Everything from shower to el. devices was working well. Only one of the electric roof windows could not be opened but this was transparently informed and not severe. There is nothing missing in the kitchen, even there are special knives for fish, oysters. The beds have a comfortable mattress. The bed size of 140x200cm is typical for France and was OK for us. The apartment has a very good location. The inner city of La Rochelle is 15 minutes away by foot. A bus stop is close nearby. The parking lot of the apartment was big enough even for our VWBus-Multivan, though a little care has to be taken during entering. There is a nice bakery 3 minutes away. It takes a 15 minutes walk to the next Leclerc supermarket that also has a lot of charging stations for EV cars. The charging worked out with my german mobility+ card.

Tout était bien, le logement conforme à la description. Elle est agréable et confortable, bien équipée en ustensiles de cuisine et un jardin bien clos pour notre petite chienne. Maison agréable Chambres spacieuses L’extérieur est un plus A 15 minutes du centre Tout peut se faire à pied ou en bus. Très bon accueil du propriétaire, il a eu la gentillesse de venir nous chercher à la gare, aller et retour. Étant accompagné de notre maman âgée.

A wonderful place to stay

The house is very close to the port and the market. We walked everyday or rented a "yélo" city bike , with a docking station just across the street! We loved the terrasse where we could have lunch, the calm of the street, the 2 bathrooms. At one point we had no more fiber service and the owner was very responsive and we had it back in time to work remotely. Overall we were very happy with our vacation.

Un Noël en famille parfait

La propriété est très bien agencée et lumineuse. Le centre ville accessible facilement (à 10 min à pied du marché des Halles). Nous avons passé un Noël parfait.
