The approximately 92-square-meter duplex apartment is located near the beach in the historic front building of the ALTE BUCHDRUCKEREI. The two-bedroom floor plan is ideal for family holidays.

Our duplex apartment in the ALTE BUCHDRUCKEREI can also be described as a semi-detached home or a house within a house, as it has a separate entrance and is set apart from the rest of the building.

The apartment spans two floors and features two bedrooms on the upper level (one with a double bed 180 cm wide and one with a French bed 140 cm wide). This floor also features a bathroom with a tub, toilet, and bidet. The upstairs living room includes a conservatory-style veranda extension. This can be opened via vertical sliding windows and used as a loggia.

On the ground floor are the dining room and a fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, oven, microwave, refrigerator, and freezer), as well as a storage room with a washing machine and dryer. A second bathroom with a walk-in shower and toilet rounds out the living space. The apartment also includes a seating area in the sunny front yard.

Note: There is an office on the ground floor that is not accessible.

The ALTE BUCHDRUCKEREI complex consists of a historic, listed front building in the “Bäderarchitektur” style and three modern minirow houses in the inner courtyard. The lovingly renovated front building features one 2-bedroom holiday apartment on the ground floor and another on the upper floor, as well as a duplex apartment with its own entrance—essentially a house within a house.

The ALTE BUCHDRUCKEREI is ideal for guests looking for beachfront accommodation in a central location, yet away from the hustle and bustle. The long, white sandy beach and the beach promenade are 300 m away. The town centre, with its pier, is also within easy walking distance. You’ll find restaurants, breakfast spots, shopping, and a fish smokehouse in the immediate vicinity.

Sauna and wellness facilities are available at nearby hotels and the Ostseetherme.
Our hotel is particularly appealing to golfing guests, as we are partners with the Balmer See Golf Park (free driving range and discounted green fees!). This course is located 13 km away in the idyllic countryside of the Achterland.
