The approximately 46-square-meter “Sailor’s Apartment” (studio) in the annex is a duplex spanning two floors. The first floor features a built-in kitchen, a dining and living area, and a bathroom with a shower. On the upper floor, you’ll find a living/sleeping area for up to 3 people with a magnificent view across the Baltic Sea all the way to Rügen.

The apartment is equipped with an electric stove, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a dishwasher, a coffee maker, a toaster, and a kettle. A baby crib with an extra mattress can be provided upon request. A washer and dryer are located in the house. Wi-Fi (fiber-optic) and parking are available. Outside, you can relax on the terrace belonging to the vacation rental or in the garden.

Within walking distance are the harbor and beach of Barhöft, the Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft National Park, a small playground, an observation tower with views of Hiddensee and Rügen, a national park museum, a café with a small shop, and a restaurant overlooking the harbor. Rent an e-bike on site and discover the surrounding area, or explore Barhöft from the water by renting a motorboat (15 PS). Enjoy being close to the water and swap the hustle and bustle of everyday life for a slower pace and tranquility.

The nearest supermarket in Prohn is about a 10-minute drive away. There you’ll also find an excellent butcher, a Volksbank branch, a pharmacy, and a family doctor’s office.

The Hanseatic city of Stralsund, with its numerous attractions (harbor, Ozeaneum, Hansedom, museums, Gorch Fock), restaurants, and cafés, is about a 15-minute drive away.
