two tastefully furnished 3-room corner apartments are located on the 1st and
thus top floor of the well-maintained “Residenza La Rocca” in a quiet and
sunny location, just about 800 m above the small village of Caldé. The
romantic harbour with the striking chalk cliff “Rocca di Caldé,” as well as
shops for daily necessities, restaurants, and the public beach, are
thus within easy walking distance. There is plenty of new
and interesting things to discover on numerous excursions. The lake, with its shores, surrounding
mountains, and small villages invites you to explore the beautiful landscape
and familiarise yourself with local customs and specialities
. Even just the climb up to the striking chalk cliff—affectionately called the “Sugar Loaf of Caldé” by the locals
—is an experience in itself. Once you reach the top,
you’ll be rewarded with a unique view of the lake and the surrounding
landscape! If you find yourself longing for the rest of the world,
free Wi-Fi is available for you to browse the internet.
For relaxation, the residence features a spacious pool (approx. 16 m
x 8 m, open from approximately mid-May to approximately mid-September, weather permitting)
with a sunbathing area and a beautiful view of Caldé Bay, the lake, the
surrounding mountains, and the chalk cliffs “Rocca di Caldé.” For the tennis enthusiasts
among you, a free
all-weather artificial turf tennis court, playable year-round, is available
for your use. You can park your car in the free parking spaces within the gated residential complex.
