About this property
BeachHouse Sinne Nr. 514: Luxurious beachfront villa with exceptional sea views
There are only a few places in the Netherlands where the view is this breathtaking!
From our brand-new holiday home Sinne, you can watch the sunrise over Lake IJsselmeer, see the sailing boats, the waves, the water birds and the mirror-smooth surface when the wind is still.
We, the owners of Sinne, grew up nearby and know the charm of the town of Enkhuizen, the tranquillity of the IJsselmeer, and all the wonderful opportunities the region offers for a perfect holiday or weekend getaway. When this plot of land right on the IJsselmeer came up for sale, we didn’t hesitate for a moment.
Location
Sinne is situated directly on the water, with views over the IJsselmeer and the old windmill of the Zuiderzee Museum. You can swim, surf, sunbathe and sail right in front of the house. The property is located on the EuroParcs site but sits on the far edge (the town-centre side of Enkhuizen), making it feel practically surrounded by nature.
The house is bright and spacious (95 m²), with 4 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, an additional toilet, an open-plan living/dining area with kitchen, and a large garden directly by the water.
Interior
The house stands out from the others in the park, as it has been personally furnished by us with high-quality furniture from Minotti, Vitra, Modular, Fest, Linteloo and others. The master bedroom features an extra-large SwissSense box-spring bed. Surrounding the house is a generous garden, a terrace with a large dining table for 10 people, parking for 2 cars and an electric charging station.
From the master bedroom upstairs, a floor-to-ceiling glass wall offers a stunning view of the IJsselmeer. Enjoying a cup of coffee and reading a book with this view alone makes your holiday a 10/10 experience. Next to this room is one of the two bathrooms (with toilet), and across the hallway a (children’s) bedroom with two single beds.
On the ground floor are two more double bedrooms with Matt Sleeps mattresses and single duvets, a second bathroom and a separate toilet.
The living area includes a fully equipped kitchen (induction hob, oven, microwave, fridge, and extensive tableware), a dining table for six, a comfortable sofa, a reading chair, a television – and of course, that beautiful view of the lake.
Extras
The house is built with sustainability in mind and includes solar panels, among other features. There is high-speed internet (over 100 Mbit/s) and a printer.
Dogs are welcome, and a dog crate is available.
As the house is located within the EuroParcs site, you can make free use of the indoor swimming pool, service desk and technical support. The site is still under development, and construction work takes place during the day. However, since the house is located by the water and at the edge of the park, you will hardly notice it. Of course, we are happy to answer any questions regarding the works.
Things to do nearby
Sinne is the perfect base for all kinds of holidays:
For families with small children, there is the Fairy Tale Wonderland park, the Zuiderzee Museum, and an indoor swimming pool just 500 metres away. You can also take a round trip by original steam tram and IJsselmeer boat from Enkhuizen to Hoorn and Medemblik.
Older children and adults can enjoy water sports such as surfing, paddleboarding, kitesurfing, sailing and swimming. Go cycling along the dike path to Medemblik or along the IJsselmeer to Hoorn. In Hoorn, you’ll find an ice rink, a large trampoline park and a Pathé cinema. In Lelystad (30 minutes away), there’s a large outlet shopping centre, and within an hour you can reach Amsterdam or the North Sea coast.
Sports enthusiasts will love cycling, running, surfing, paddleboarding, kitesurfing, sailing, swimming or playing golf here.
All this in an incredibly charming harbour town from the Dutch Golden Age, with beautiful buildings, alleyways, shops, restaurants and harbours. De Drom theatre, within walking distance, offers entertaining shows and a high-quality arthouse cinema. Guided city walks take place every week, where you can learn more about Enkhuizen’s stunning architecture.
The house is just 500 metres from Enkhuizen’s fortified walls, so you can easily walk into the old town. The train station is 2 km away.
We are so happy with this wonderful location and beautifully designed home and hope to share our enthusiasm for Enkhuizen with you.
Sinne means sun in Frisian – a fitting name for this light-filled retreat in one of the sunniest regions of the Netherlands.
