This ~130 m2 three bedroom vacation home is located at the end of a cul-de-sac and surrounded by gardens. It can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people, with additional facilities for one more guest in the basement.
A large comfortable sofa near a wood-burning Swedish stove in the spacious downstairs living area creates a cosy atmosphere where you can relax and chat or enjoy multimedia entertainment. An extendable dining table with matching chairs provides enough space to dine comfortably with all family members and/or friends. Preparing and serving food is a dream thanks to the fully equipped American-style kitchen with more than 6 meters of worktop space. On the covered terrace you can dine outside in any weather and enjoy the warmth of the afternoon sun or simply listen to the crickets in late summer.
Two of the bedrooms are equipped with double beds (200 x 200 with separate 90cm mattresses) and the third has two standard single beds (90 x 200). The basement room with cork floor can be used as a playroom and offers another guest a comfortable single bed (90 x 200).
There are 2 WCs in the house - one on the ground floor and one on the 1st floor. A shower / bath is available for guests on the 1st floor. In the basement there is a whirlpool bath with shower attachment.
For our winter guests (October to March) or for guests who have booked with us for more than 7 days, a sauna is also available to them in the basement.
The ~600 m2 garden with its variety of fruit and deciduous trees invites you to picnic and/or barbecue. A double garage is available for protected parking and offers plenty of space for bicycles, hiking equipment, skis, etc.
The 77 km long "Dampflokradweg", an acclaimed cycle and hiking path that is recommended by the ADFC (German Cyclist’s Association) that was created by the Ostallgäu Tourism Association and is mentioned in various publications, is only a matter of metres away from the house.
The house is located ~45 minutes by car from Munich South Airport (Memmingen); ~40 minutes from the Ammersee; ~40 minutes from the Forgensee and Ludwig's fairy tale castles; 30 minutes from Landsberg and only 15 minutes from the old town of Kaufbeuren. It is just 18 minutes by car to the nearest ski lift (ski lift at Ascher Rauth) and just 1 hour to the Tannheimer Tal (with ski facilities in nearby Austria) or to the Grünten or even to Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

Das Haus war geeignet für unseren Hund. Ein Garten war vorhanden, der auch für den kurzen Auslauf geeignet war. Die Umgebung ist ruhig. Das Krähen von Hähnen ist kaum zu vernehmen und hat uns auch bei offenen Fenstern und Türen nicht gestört.Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und hat sich Zeit genommen, das ganze Haus zu zeigen und alles zu erklären. Unsere Vorstellungen wurden voll erfüllt, und wir haben nichts zu beanstanden.
