This cosy "house-within-a-house" loft apartment is located on the ground floor and in the right half of the former school building, which was built in 1818 by Count Schenk, then owner of Unterdießen Castle. With 120 square metres spread across various living and sleeping areas, it can accommodate up to 10 guests.<br>Pure peace and relaxation; art and culture in the immediate vicinity and throughout the Pfaffenwinkel region; Lake Ammersee and Lake Starnberg, the mountains, Munich and Augsburg, Neuschwanstein Castle, many historic old towns, amusement parks, and more are all within easy driving distance.<br>And afterwards, enjoy a cosy evening in your own garden area, by the fire in the Swedish stove, or playing board games with your family.<br>If you need more space, you can also rent the ground floor, which features a 60-square-meter living/sleeping area that sleeps 2–4 people, as well as an additional bathroom with a shower. You can feel the charm of “Upper Bavarian Tuscany” everywhere.<br>The Wiesbach River winds its way picturesquely through Unterdießen, and the Lech River is only 4 km away. The Gothic parish church, the castle, picturesque houses, and the nearby forest make up the immediate surroundings. There is a bakery in town (200 m); an inn with a lovely beer garden (100 m); and numerous good restaurants in the immediate vicinity.<br><br>Unterdießen lies at the crossroads of four of Bavaria’s most beautiful regions: the Allgäu with its stunning landscapes, mountains, and lakes; Bavarian Swabia with its wealth of towns and monasteries; the Five Lakes Region with its lush and picturesque recreational landscape; and the Pfaffenwinkel with some of Germany’s most beautiful churches.
