On the sunny side of the Walgau at 900 metres above sea level lies our holiday home, a two-family farmhouse that is over 300 years old, which has been adapted to modern comforts and lovingly restored on an ongoing basis. It is equipped for self-catering and offers space for up to 9 people. The area is ideal for hiking, mountaineering, mountain biking or paragliding, as well as for excursions to the Biosphere Park, Großes Walsertal, the Lake Constance region, Liechtenstein and Switzerland.

The house has four bedrooms (2x 3-bed, 1x 2-bed, 1x single room), two bathrooms (1x with bathtub, 1x with shower), a kitchen and a parlour with tiled stove. In front of the house there is a large meadow with seating and a wonderful view of the mountains from the Silvretta to Switzerland.

Right next door is an organic farm which sells organic eggs, fruit and vegetables. You can also buy milk and meat directly from the farm in the neighbourhood. The nearest (small) supermarket is in the neighbouring village, about 2 km away.

Fur Familien sehr zu empfehlen. Das Haus ist urgemütlich. Sauber. Die Besitzer sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Auch die Kommunikation ging reibungslos.Mit dem Auto ging es schnell zu den Orten, wo wir hin wollten. Bürser Schlucht, Rappenlochschlucht und üble Schlucht.

Urlaub in Dünserberg

Alles in allem war der Urlaub sehr schön. Das Haus an sich entsprach der Beschreibung und die Lage, sowie die Aussicht waren grandios. Von dort lies es sich problemlos zu allen möglichen Aktivitäten starten. Auch die Anbindung an den Nahverkehr sowie Einkaufsmöglichkeiten waren gegeben. Wer mit Kindern unterwegs ist, sollte allerdings beachten, dass es keinen Fernseher im Haus gibt (was schon wünschenswert gewesen wäre). Einen kleinen Abzug gibt es für die Sauberkeit im Haus. Hier vor allem für die Dusche und die zahllosen Spinnweben nebst Spinnen. Ansonsten ist es ein absolut empfehlenswertes Objekt und auch dank der vielen Schlafzimmer für viele Personen geeignet.

Historisches Bauernhaus mit Bergpanorama

Hoch über dem Tal mit fantastischem Bergpanorama gelegen ist das Jahrhunderte alte Bauernhaus. Der voll funktionstüchtige Kachelofen wird ergänzt durch eine moderne Hackschnitzel Zentralheizung. Auf dem Holz-Elektro-Kombi Herd haben wir für 6 Leute jeden Abend mehrgängige Menüs gekocht. Alle Küchenutensilien sind vorhanden. Nebenan ist eine Brennerei mit feinen Bränden für lange Abende in der Wohnküche oder der rustikalen Stube. Von Schnifis aus ist man mit der Gondelbahn schnell oben auf dem Berg. Mit dem Auto in 45 Minuten im Brandnertal. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Wunderschöne Lage für einen Wanderurlaub

Das Haus ist sehr groß und sehr gemütlich. Geheizt haben wir mit einem Kachelofen (die Heizung war im September noch nicht angestellt), der mit sehr wenig Holz eine enorme Hitze in der Küche und im Wohnzimmer entfaltete. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Direkt vom Haus aus kann man viele schöne Wanderungen unternehmen. Der Vermieter war extrem freundlich und half uns in einer persönlichen Notlage sehr engagiert und mit viel Zeitaufwand weiter. Das Haus bietet eine schöne Möglichkeit, zur Ruhe zu kommen, miteinander Zeit zu verbringen und sich wohl zu fühlen.

Ländliche Idylle mit authentischem Ambiente

Sehr unkompliziert mit viel Platz, großem Garten und großer Garage. Biohof in Nebengebäude nett und praktisch. Für unsere Radtour Homebase ideal.
