Comfortable apartment with everything you need

Very nice area, being less than 5 minutes walk to a lovely little sandy cove. Paul was very welcoming and helpful. The apartment had everything we needed for a week's stay, and as there were only two of us we found it very spacious. The balcony with a view towards the sea was an excellent place to enjoy breakfast and dinner. Private parking behind the property was a bonus, although there was plenty of additional parking available in the street.

Excellent vacation

Lovely landlord, my wife and the children first didn't want to go home. The appartement looked and feeled like a home. And i can advice every body this location. Sweet and lovely person. With also in the middle to visite two big citys in spain Barcelona and valencia. Kind regards family van der borght

Lovely apartment. Highly recommended!

Definitely intend to return! Our first holiday in Paul's apartment was certainly home from home. Very spacious with everything there you could wish for and Paul's hospitality was second to none. Excellent beach within walking distance. Really peaceful location. Car would be recommended as no supermarkets within walking distance although you can walk around the headland to L'Ampolla which took us approx 40mins. Totally agree with all the previous reviews. Peniscola is a lovely place to visit - approx 45 mins away. Good pizzeria on the corner. We had a very relaxing holiday and look forward to a return visit!

Apartment in L'ampolla

On our 4th vacation it is and has always been a delight and pleasant experience, the accomadation is very spacious, clean, with all mod cons that expect from your own home, ie , widescreen tv, sky, dvd player, video player, cd player, iron, hairdryer, microwave, i would here all day if i listed everything , it's home from home. The location is very quiet and peaceful with the beach being in view from the balcony , the beach being very secluded with a beach restaurant and pedlos for hire. There is lots of info in the apartment on all the surrounding areas, history , attractions ect, the Peniscula is a must !!!, Salou is only approx 35/40km, my children age 10 and 11 always look forward and enjoy returning to L'ampolla.

Value for the money

Totally agree with with the reviews posted earlier. A really peaceful location. There's hardly any traffic on the streets of Cap Roig so you can keep the bedroom window open in the night if it gets too hot. This resort is ideal for beach holiday as the nearest beach is just a few minutes walk away but there's plenty to see within 45 minutes driving distance as well: the delta of river Ebro, Salou, two waterparks near Salou, nearby towns etc. The owner Paul is a true gentleman with at your service -attitude. He speaks the local language fluently and that is a considerable advantage in case you end up in a situation where your own English or Catalan doesn't cut the mustard! Car is a must because there are no supermarkets within walking distance. There's a cozy pizzeria at the other end of the building.

Wir waren als 5 köpfige Familie in der Wohnung die bestens ausgestattet ist. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Und für die Kinder war die Wohnung perfekt. Es gab genügend Ventilatoren, aber man konnte die Wohnung auch sehr gut durchlüften.Vor dem Haus waren direkt wie beschrieben genügend Parkplätze. Der Weg zum Strand hat nur knapp 5 Min. gedauert und er war trotz Hochsaison nicht voll. Es gibt eine traumhafte Umgebung die man gemütlich zu Fuß erkunden kann, da es Wege (teilweise auch gut begehbare Trampelpfade) am Strand entlang gibt.Einkaufsläden hat dieser Ort nicht, was uns nicht gestört hat. Unten im Haus gibt es noch eine sehr leckere Pizzeria. Und obwohl uns gesagt wurde, das es am Wochenende evtl. Mal etwas lauter werden kann, haben wir davon nicht viel mitbekommen. Paul, der Vermieter war super nett. Er konnte sowohl deutsch, wie auch Englisch und Spanisch sprechen. Er ist sehr zuvorkommend, freundlich und super zu erreichen. Diese Unterkunft ist zu 100% zu empfehlen.

Paul est très accueillant. Il nous a permis d'arriver de manière flexible et la communication avec lui est facile. L'appartement est parfaitement fonctionnel. Il y a tout le nécessaire utile, notamment dans la cuisine. Nous avons apprécié la salle de bain, neuve. Et la proximité de la plage de sable de Cap Roig. Nous étions prévenu que la pizzeria d'a côté générait du bruit (jusqu'à 11h en semaine et plus tard le vendredi et le samedi). Ça ne nous a pas dérangé. Côté literie, le lit double mériterait d'être renouvelé. Grace à la présence de multiples matelas, j'en ai trouvé un qui me convenait mieux

Mi marido y yo hemos pasado 10 días en el apartamento de Paul, que ha sido un anfitrión excelente, contestando a todos los mensajes y dándonos instrucciones claras. Nous avons pas l'habitude de faire de commentaires sur les sites internet. Rien n'est plus précieux, à nos yeux, que les relations humaines en présentiel.Nous ferons donc une exception car nous tenons à remercier chaleureusement notre hôte Paul qui est un vrai gentleman.Il sait mettre à l'aise déjà en parlant notre langue natale avec un délicieux accent irlandais. C'est une personne courtoise, respectueuse et généreuse.Nous n'avons pas eu le sentiment d'avoir affaire à un "loueur lambda" pour séjours touristiques mais presque à un ami. Paul sait recevoir. En ce qui concerne l'appartement, il n'y a rien à redire si ce n'est qu'il est très bien situé, très confortable et très bien équipé. Ainsi, nous avons pu pleinement profiter de notre séjour catalan aussi bien dans le delta de l'Ebre que dans l'arrière pays.Nous avons particulièrement aimé les villes de Tortosa, de Reus et de Tarragone. Nous avons ramené à nos proches du miel et du riz de la région. Ce fut aussi l'occasion de se baigner à Cap Roig pratiquement tous les matins. Encore merci à Paul pour avoir contribué à la réussite de notre séjour. Nous lui souhaitons, ainsi qu'à ses proches, une excellente continuation. Chantal et Eric

Sehr schöne typisch spanische Wohnung mit tollem Balkon! Man kann wunderbar, auch wenn es mal regnet, draußen sitzen und die Aussicht bei einem Glas Rotwein und einem guten Buch genießen. Wir waren Anfang bis Mitte September dort, alles sehr ruhig und der fußläufige Strand daher auch nicht überlaufen. Das Meerwasser war schön warm und da es sich dort um eine Bucht handelt, gab es nicht die großen Wellen, also auch für Schwimmer und kleinere Kinder sehr gut geeignet. Die Pizzeria um die Ecke hat nur von 19 - 24 Uhr geöffnet, so dass anschließend auch von dort ab spätestens 24 Uhr kein Laut mehr bis zur Wohnung kommt (sonst halt nur die übliche "spanische" Kommunikation untereinander aber keine laute Musik oder dergleichen). Das Ebrodelta ist sehr grün und dort gibt es dann auch weitläufige Strände mit höheren Wellen und langen Strandspaziergängen. Mietwagen zum Einkauf in L'Ampolla oder der näheren Umgebung macht Sinn, da die Strecke zu Fuß bei Hitze doch etwas beschwerlich sein kann. Also alles sehr zu empfehlen!

Hebergement parfait, bien placé, à 5 min de la mer. 5 min en voiture des epiceries. 15 min de la premiere station essence.Proprietaire super gentil, qui parle tres bien francais.Nous avons pu visiter le Delta de l'ebre, l'Ampolla, Tarragone, Tortosa, Rapita et port aventura. Un beau sejour. Tres content de cette location au calme entouré de magnifiques villas.

Wer Ruhe sucht ist dort richtig

Ruhe pur, das lauteste war der Kuckuck und die Tauben, wir werden bestimmt wieder kommen.Um Einzukaufen benötigt man aber ein Auto, auch um die wunderschöne Umgebung kennen zu lernen.
