The Cottage on the Pointe in Barbeau. The St. Mary's River is on two sides. Relax and enjoy the Freighter View. The down-bound Freighters come into view and pass within 100 feet of the property. You can watch each one for approximately 45 minutes depending upon their speed.

Heaven on Earth. An excellent getaway!

The cottage is really nice, spacious and fully equipped with anything you may need! The scenery is stunning with a walk out view to the boat traffic! We absolutely love staying there!

A great place for anyone wanting to relax

It was so much fun to see what type of boat would should up next. The location is nice and just a great place to relax. The Falls and the Locks are also something nice to see and do while staying here.

Wonderful location

All around great experience. Beautiful spot to watch ships roll by and enjoy all that is the U.P. of Michigan. Looking forward to staying here again in 2020.

Third time we've rented this vrbo. Never disappoints. The fact that the tv wasnt working this time was a minus. But I understand how hard it is to get companies to provide service in the UP. I'm sure we'll be back!

Relax in the lane

Pretty much right in the shipping lane, south bound out of Superior. If you love being close to the Great Lakes ships, then this place is awesome. Not much around but the food and staff at the watering hole (Cozy Corners) is a short walk from the cabin.

Communications with the property owner were great. The communications via VRBO were very difficult to follow. Otherwise, the experience was really nice.
