Visitor’s Tax/Overnight Stay Tax of the Hanseatic City of Wismar (5%):
The Hanseatic City of Wismar levies a visitor’s tax/overnight stay tax of 5% on the travel price of the booked accommodation. This is not included in the travel price and will be billed separately upon booking. Since the visitor’s tax/overnight tax is not based on the number of guests, visitors to the Hanseatic City of Wismar are not issued a visitor’s card.

This cosy and new holiday apartment, “Atelier unterm Marienturm,” welcomes you to the centre of Wismar. The apartment is located on the 2nd floor of a quiet apartment building right on Marienplatz, in the heart of Wismar. Despite its central location, the apartment is in a quiet area and offers everything you need for a holiday. High-quality renovations followed by meticulous furnishing with an eye for detail make it the ideal place to explore Wismar and the surrounding area.
The centrepiece is the large attic room, divided into a living area and a bedroom. With a view of the sky and Wismar’s backyards (complete with chickens), you can relax here on the comfortable couch, use the desk to write your holiday postcards, read, sleep in, plan excursions……
The new, high-quality bathroom features a modern design with a walk-in shower equipped with an additional rain showerhead, a toilet, a heated towel rack, and ample storage space—including a hair dryer and curling iron.
The new oak bed, with its 140 x 200 cm pocket-spring mattress, ensures a restful night’s sleep even for those with allergies. Of course, the bedding is also allergen-free.
The amenities naturally also include a washing machine with a dryer function in the basement.
Furthermore, we offer free Wi-Fi throughout your entire stay.
Your car will be safely parked in our private parking space right next to the house. If you bring your own bicycle or e-bike, you can store it securely in our bike storage room.
Please note that this is a “slippers-only” apartment. Smoking and bringing pets are not permitted. To ensure a pleasant atmosphere in the building, we ask that you observe quiet hours starting at 10:00 p.m.
