Our family of four plus our Labrador had a very peaceful and pleasant stay. This house was a great base for a lot of day trips throughout our week (Bayeux / D Day beaches and graves and Trouville) and the proximity to pretty Honfleur for leisurely walks through the cobbled alleys was excellent.

Lovely vacation home

We stayed at the house for about a week together with our two kids. There's plenty of space and the garden and the view are wonderful. We really enjoyed our time and miss this place already!

A Good Place to Stay

Good accommodation in rural setting. Well appointed with all amenities. Small concern over slippery shower, maybe a anti-slip shower mat and a grab handle would assist less mobile visitors.

Great location but poor facliteis

Amazing location and setting for the property but let down by extremely poor WIFI and bathroom and toilet ( shower very small and slippery exit, toilet small and very diifficult to access. Felt very uncomfortable having to wait for gite to be checked over before receiving our very large deposit back.We have never had to pay this amount of cash for a depoist before.Gite would be ideal though for a family with small children.

Glad you liked the frame. To respond to your comments: For wifi, there is not actually fiber yet, but many people telecommute without complaining about the network. It is even possible to watch Netflix or another movie without any problem. For the bathroom and the toilets, they are indeed not huge but of quite normal size for a holiday home. The photos are self-explanatory. Regarding the deposit, we do indeed ask for one, because you cannot imagine the damage we are victims of: broken bay windows, stolen painting and decoration, broken ceramic hob, etc, etc. I think a deposit of 400€ for a house of more than 100m2 is not excessive. We now return it once the cleaning is done because many people have fun hiding their damage.

Sehr schöne, ruhige Lage mit wunderbarem Blick in die Landschaft. Honfleur ist mit dem Fahrrad oder dem Auto schnell und gut erreichbar. Der Bäcker für frisches Baguette ist in 10 Minutne mit dem Fahhrad zu erreichen.Es hat uns gut gefallen.

Entspannung pur

trotz sehr wechselhaftem Wetter hatten wir 2 angenehme Wochen. Die Lage des Hauses ist perfekt für nahe Ausflüge nach Honfleur,Deauville,Trouville, und auch Rouen, Etretat und die Suisse normande sind problemlos zu erreichen. Der Garten mit Ausblick auf die Felder und Wälder ist traumhaft. Wir haben viele Sonnenstunden dort verbracht.Vielen Dank an Melanie und Ambroise für den freundlichen Empfang.

Idyllischer Ort mit herrlichem Garten

Wunderschöne, ruhige Lage!

Die Lage ist ein Traum, außerhalb von Honfleur, hat uns aber überhaupt nicht gestört. Vermieter sehr nett, leider nicht sauber geputzt!

Als Sie abreisten, sagten Sie mir, dass Sie mit Ihrem Aufenthalt sehr zufrieden waren! Es tut mir leid, dass Ihnen die Reinigung nicht gefallen hat. Wir tun jedoch das Notwendige, um sicherzustellen, dass alles perfekt ist. Wie ich Ihnen bereits erklärt hatte, war unsere Putzfrau vor Ihrer Ankunft abwesend und wurde durch eine ihrer Freundinnen ersetzt. Aber ich freue mich, dass Ihnen alles andere gefallen hat. Ich für meinen Teil hätte es begrüßt, wenn Sie die Bettdecken und Tagesdecken bei Ihrer Abreise nicht in einem Knäuel liegen gelassen hätten...

We had a lovely stay at Melanie and Ambroise. The house was great. The service was even better. Melanie and Ambroise are lovely people how care a lot for their tenants and their houses. We recommend a stay in beautiful Normandy with them!
