The Vorauf Holiday Park is located at an elevation of about 700 metres on a
range of hills in the charming landscape of the Chiemgau region. Originally,
there were three farms on the 65-hectare property. After two years of planning and construction, the first houses in what is now the “Vorauf II” area were completed in 1972. The village centre was inaugurated in 1976. One of the three
farms, the Feichtenhof, had to be demolished in 1976; however, it was rebuilt in
the same year. Today, it houses nine cosy holiday apartments
. The holiday park was named after the Vorauf farm. The property is located in the centre of the holiday resort and was renovated in 1977 and 2012.
