Fun in the Camargue

We wanted to visit the Camargue, its wildlife, its landscape and the beaches. We loved the house and the garden. The decor was great and a mix of modern eclectic, traditional Camargue and farmhouse cottage. There were only 5 adults in our group (2 others had to pull out), so we had loads of space. The self contained cottage in the garden was a great bonus, which wasn't obvious from the listing. The kitchen and dining room was very well equipped too.

Nous avons passé 15 jours formidables au Mas. Nous étions 10 personnes, plus un chien. Grand espace, très convivial, un super accueil par le concierge et le propriétaire. On s’est tout de suite senti chez nous. La situation du Mas est parfaite, nous avons pu rayonner dans les environs tous les jours, faire des balades à cheval, promenade dans les marais, visiter les villes et villages, profiter de belles plages et se détendre autour de la magnifique piscine. Je recommande à 1000% cet endroit.

Idéale pour les enfants (bémol sur les protections pour la piscine: alarme et volet HS) A savoir, route proche avec nuisances en fonction du sens du vent (4j sur 8j). Excellentes Bauernhaus mit phantastischem Garten

Wir haben vom 05.09–19.09.2020 zwei sehr schöne Wochen mit unserem Hund in diesem Haus verbracht. Das Haus ist in der Realität deutlich wohnlicher und hochwertiger ausgestattet als es im Internetinserat erscheint. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die Housekeeper Gilda und Jonathan, die in unmittelbarer Umgebung des Anwesens wohnen und sich alle Mühe geben etwaige Probleme unmittelbar zu beseitigen. Superfreundlich, immer erreichbar, trotz alledem nie aufdringlich und betraten das Grundstück nur nach vorheriger Abstimmung. Der Garten ist komplett mit einer Mauer umgeben und die zwei vorhandenen Tore zu den angrenzenden Pferdekoppeln waren mit geringem Aufwand ausbruchsicher für unseren Hund gestaltet. Die Bettenanzahl ist folgendermaßen aufgeteilt: Doppelbett im Masterschlafzimmer mit eigenem Bad, Doppelbett im angrenzenden Raum, sowie 4 Einzelbetten in einem Raum. Separates Bad dafür vorhanden. Ein weiteres Doppelbett befindet sich in einem angrenzenden Gästehaus mit Dusche, WC, Kühlschrank und Nespressomaschine, ebenfalls sehr ansprechend. Der Pool hat eine Größe von abgeschrittenen 10 x 5 m und eine max. Tiefe von 1,50 m. Durchaus akzeptabel, mehr aber auch nicht. Erklärung zu den lediglich 3 Sternen für Lage und Umgebung: 300 m vor dem Haus verläuft die mitunter stark befahrene Verbindungsstraße zwischen Arles und Saintes Maries de la Mer. Je nach Windrichtung ergibt sich dadurch eine „Lärmbelästigung“, die wir auf Grund der Lage und Beschreibung des Hauses nicht erwartet hätten. Nicht wirklich laut, aber eben nicht Natur pur. Weitere Manko war für uns, dass in der Umgebung des Hauses keine Möglichkeit von längeren Sparziergängen in der Natur bestand. Hinweis: Während unseres Aufenthaltes gab es eine Vielzahl von Mücken; dahingehnd war die Verwendung von Mückenschutzmitteln unumgänglich. Wir haben gute Erfahrungen gemacht mit der Verwendung von „Antimückenspiralen“, die wir in entspechender Anzahl verteilt, haben verglühen lassen.

Sehr gute Ausstattung, verbesserungsfähige Stromversorgung

Das "Mas du petit tamaris" bietet eine sehr gute Ausstattung für einen Aufenthalt mit mehreren Personen. Im Obergeschoss befinden sich Schlaf- und Badezimmer, im Erdgeschoss eine offene Küche mit Ess- und Wohnbereich, außerdem eine Toilette und eine Wäschekammer. Im Nebenhaus befindet sich ein weiteres Zimmer mit Doppelbett, Toilette und Bad. Alle sanitären Einbauten machen einen sehr guten Eindruck, man hat schnell warmes Wasser. Auch das kleine Nebenhaus ist als vollwertiges Schlafzimmer zu sehen. Im überdachten Außenbereich, der mit Fliegengitern geschützt ist, gibt es eine lange Tafel. Dort steht ebenfalls ein sauberer, funktionstüchtiger (Weber-)Gasgrill; Gasflaschen sind vorhanden. Man kann auch an einem Tisch auf der überdachten Veranda essen. Der Pool ist sehr sauber und wird regelmäßig gereinigt, der Außenbereich und der Garten sind sehr gepflegt. Die Küchenausstattung (Essgeschirr, Töpfe, Pfannen, Besteck) ist stimmig und in großer Zahl vorhanden. Der wirklich einzige Nachteil, der uns während unseres zweiwöchigen Aufenthaltes aufgefallen ist, ist die Stromversorgung des Kochfeldes. Das Induktionskochfeld hat wohl eine Beschädigung aus einem früheren Aufenthalt, weshalb man nur zwei von vier Kochstellen nutzen kann. Wenn man beide auf voller Stufe nutzt, kann es dennoch zum Stromausfall im gesamten Gebäude kommen. In diesem Fall muss man den Strom am Hauptschalter im Sicherungskasten, der sich ca. 200 m entfernt am Zufahrtsweg befindet, wieder einschalten. Gerade bei großen Personengruppen kann dieser Umstand dazu führen, dass man das Kochen sehr genau planen muss. Da es sich um einen aus unserer Sicht behebbaren Defekt handelt, ziehen wir hierfür einen Punkt ab. Fazit: + moderne Ausstattung + viel Platz - Probleme bei der Stromversorgung Note: 1-2

excellent séjour dans ce mas aux pièces spacieuses, à la déco sympa, tous les appareils ménagers nécessaires à disposition jusqu'au sèche linge et super barbecue !! Proche de tous les lieux à visiter. seul petit bémol le chemin d'accès un peu défoncé. Nous recommandons cette location ++++.

Nous avons passé une super semaine au petit Tamaris, idéalement situé pour découvrir la Camargue. La maison est très agréable, on se sent comme chez soi : de l’espace, un beau jardin, une maison décorée avec goût, tous les équipements nécessaires pour passer un très bon séjour. Nous avons passé au petit Tamaris une très chouette semaine avec nos 4 enfants. La maison est très bien équipée, moustiquaires partout, beaucoup de documentation sur la région, jardin très bien entretenu, bbq et plancha, vélos à disposition, attention piscine non clôturée, location à recommander !
