In the charming four-sided courtyard of the historic Hexenburg, we offer cosy private rooms in the style of a capsule hotel. Perfect for anyone who’s out and about during the day and looking for a relaxed, uncomplicated retreat in the evening.

Your room is compact (approx. 5 square metres), but with a comfortable double bed and your own small fridge, it offers exactly the private tranquillity you need after a long day. You’ll share the shower and toilet with the other guests in the unit, whilst a compact kitchenette in the hallway allows you to prepare quick meals for yourself.

Next door is a large multi-purpose room which (subject to availability) can be used as an XXL living room with a professional kitchen and a giant TV.

• 2 separate mini-shower rooms and 2 separate toilets

• Kitchenette (shared) with a 2-ring hob, dishwasher, coffee machine and kettle

• Very good Wi-Fi available

• Special highlight: subject to availability, guests can use the adjacent XXL communal lounge with a large TV and fully equipped kitchen

• Free access to the vast Hexenburg grounds, including the on-site swimming pond and extensive green spaces



Guest Access:

Check-in is simple and contactless via a key safe. Once you have completed the online check-in and uploaded a valid form of ID, you can arrive at your convenience.

The room is situated on the grounds of Hexenburg, a historic four-sided farmstead near Dresden, offering plenty of nature, tranquillity and a unique atmosphere. Natural ponds, paddocks and extensive green spaces make this place a true haven of peace.

Hexenburg is an ideal base for a variety of excursions combining nature, culture and historic towns. Many attractions and leisure activities are within easy reach.



• Stolpen Castle (approx. 10 mins)

• The historic old towns of Pirna (approx. 30 mins) and Bautzen (approx. 40 mins)

• Dresden with its Baroque old town, restaurants and trendy neighbourhoods (approx. 40 mins)

• Hiking, cycling and climbing in Saxon Switzerland (approx. 30 mins)

• Lusatian Pond Landscape Biosphere Reserve (approx. 40 mins)

• Day trip to the Spreewald (approx. 1.5 hours)

• Prague – the ‘Golden City’, reachable in around 2 hours

For even greater comfort and a relaxing holiday, the following extras can be added as required:



• Bed linen (€15 per set) and towels (€5 per set)

• Wood-fired barrel sauna in the Hexenburg courtyard (€15 including wood and cleaning)

• Washing machine and tumble dryer for shared use (€5 each)



NOTES ON THE PROPERTY:

Hexenburg is a historic four-sided farmstead that is currently undergoing ongoing, careful renovation. Some outdoor areas are still under development.

The swimming pond is a natural body of water and not a conventional swimming pool. Water quality may vary depending on the weather, particularly during the summer months.



Interaction with Guests:

We are available to our guests every day from 8 am to 8 pm. In addition, there is usually someone on site at Hexenburg should you need any assistance.

Riding lessons and trail rides can be arranged flexibly and at short notice directly with the riding instructor.
