Stayed here in June. We loved exploring the trails with our four wheelers. We also saw a bear about half a mile from our cabin!Would definitely come back again!
Holiday decor was great. Home very pretty. Love layout of the house. Balcony upstairs was so pretty at night. Was so awesome on trails. Loved it. The loft are upstairs is really cool layout for kids.
We had a great weekend at the Cabin! Our family enjoyed the property, the house, and the trails! Would highly recommend if you are looking for a fun, relaxing get-away!
The property was even better in person! We loved the privacy and my 4 year old loved the freedom he had to roam with no worries in the world. The cabin was clean and comfy and welcoming! We plan to visit many more times!
The cabin was just perfect! Very comfortable and everything worked great and the hot tub was such a bonus! It is nice and secluded but not too far from town. Already looking at dates to return! Thanks so much.
We rode the trails a couple days but we mostly just relaxed and watched the deer and wildlife . It was wonderful experience we will be going again for sure
We brought our side by side down to ride but they had gotten ALOT of rain so lots of flooding. We made the best of it though. The cabin was so clean and homey! And Holly was a great host! Thanks again!
We stayed at the Cowboy cabin. It was exactly what we expected and worked perfectly for our trip. It was clean, spacious, well stocked and comfortable. My wife even commented on nicely the cabin smelled. The area around the cabin is very open and the view from the cabin was great. There were no other cabins within sight of the property which gave us a great sense of privacy and sense that we were really "getting away". The property owner was easy to communicate with when it came to any questions we had which were few. We enjoyed our stay and we were very pleased. We would definitely recommend this property to others.
Loved the privacy the hot tub doesn’t get hot at all didn’t even get to use it the house isn’t as clean as I would have expected it to be riding trails are fun but in rough shape in my opinion it was more fun to ride on the grass around the cabin in 3 nights and two days we had 2 different families stop and ask us to get there side by sides unstuck luckily we had no issue I also felt like it was kinda weird to ask guest to start the laundry and take all garbage out prior to checking out when we arrived for check in the cleaning lady was still at the cabin i don’t think I’d stay here again due to the lack of cleanliness and bc the hot tub isn’t hot

We appreciate all feedback but I would like to clarify a few things:
These guests arrived before the check-in time of 2:00 pm. If a guest arrives early then they should expect to see our housekeeper there.
I ask that every guest contact us within a few hours of arrival if there is any cleanliness issues, but we never heard from them. I was at the cabin when the guests showed up as well, I had inspected it and it was very clean. Since the guests was very vague in what she thought wasn't clean and didn't give specifics I'm uncertain how to address this issue.
We had no idea that some of our other guests requested them to help them get their UTV unstuck. They could have said no or told them to contact us.
As far as the trails conditions, they are trails and will not be smooth like a road. I could have recommended other places to ride if that's what they would have preferred.
Also it is very standard for someone staying at a cabin, house, or condo to request that guests start the laundry and take the garbage to the trash can that sits just outside the back door of the cabin. This isn't anything that is out of the norm within the hospitality industry.
Finally, they never called us about the hot tub. If they would have reached out to use we could have corrected it since all it needed was the temperature adjusted.
I highly recommend if there are any issues or complaint to reach out to us to see if it can be resolved. Since we never heard once from these guests during their stay we were not able to resolve them.
All was great except for two things, so I hate to even say anything negative. The only 2 problems were the recliners were filthy and the kitchen stove backsplash had grease running down it. All other areas of the cabin were awesome, the views outside, we saw many deer, the cabin itself was really nice, the quietness of the area, just everthing else was great.
Myself, my husband and our two boys stayed for four nights at the Cowboy Getaway. We brought two 4-wheelers and two dirt bikes and basically spent the whole time exploring the property and even road over to Wolf Pen Gap to spend the day. This was a wonderful family vacation that we’ll never forget.
