Couldn't as for more! Great quiet location not far from everything. All you need for a perfect vacation. I'd recommend this house for anyone wanting a quiet break from the cities.

Very Nice!

We rented this for almost 3 weeks and it was a pleasure to stay there. The place was very clean and more than enough room for 2 people. Our host Evona was great at addressing one minor issue with a slow drain with no hassle at all. The location was perfect for us with Aldis, Trader Joes, and Publix nearby making it easy to stock up on groceries. It's also close to Siesta Key and downtown Sarasota so we enjoyed the fact that we had so many choices for things to do nearby. This place is quiet and even though it's situated a few blocks from the main road you couldn't hear it at all in the house. We also felt safe walking all around the area day and night which is important anytime you stay somewhere new. We'd definitely rent this again in the future.

Quiet getaway in a very central location!

We enjoyed how convenient the location was for all of our planned adventures--visiting friends in Palmer Ranch, University Park, Longboat Key--plus bicycling in Myakka State Park, Robinson Preserve, and elsewhere. Garage was a perfect place to store our bikes, bike rack, etc. overnight. We really enjoyed watching people and pets on the adjacent Sarasota Recreation Trail. Breakfasted every morning on the patio, even at 45 degrees. So much warmer and brighter than New England!

Relaxing home away from home

We had a great, relaxing experience. Home was very clean and the neighborhood was very quiet. Stores and beach near by. We even enjoyed the nice short trail right next to the house.

Overall very good. A few maintenance issues: Air conditioning fan needs attention. Squeaks loudly. Both bathroom sink stoppers do not work. Living room window lock broken. Can’t lock it. One of the two VRBO emails with house instructions had incorrect door code. Listing details should include that beach chairs and umbrella are available.

Evona's VRBO is located minutes from downtown Sarasota and its beaches. Just a short ride to the Opera, the Sarasota Orchestra ad Sarasota's nightlife. The VRBO is clean and Evona is just a phone call away. Would highly recommend.

Knitting retreat

4 of my friends and I came to Sarasota from the Ft Walton Beach area to go to the most wonderful Yarn Shop. We only booked this house for 2 nights but next time we are going to stay much longer. The house was more than I expected. So clean, Evona had everything that we needed. We all felt so much at home. As one of the other reviewers mentioned, it was on a quite street and so close to everything Thanks Evona for a wonderful opportunity to stay in this lovely home. Jessie

Great Stay

A group of my college friends and I were looking for a nice quiet place to stay for spring break and this was the perfect fit for us. The price was great (esp. for college students), and the location was awesome as it was right near shopping and a short drive to Siesta Key. The house itself was perfect. It was spacious enough for all of my friends and I, and it was updated, comfortable and really came to be our little home for a week. The backyard and the patio was a nice bonus! Evona is also very kind! A great fit for anyone.

The house is adorable and charming, we just loved our stay and wanted to stay longer. Loved the cushy leather sofa & chair, the pretty wood floors, the gorgeous main bathroom that I wanted to copy, the glass block windows, the pretty kitchen. Updated and lovely. Nice open floor plan. Absolutely immaculate. Good location, quiet neighborhood, right by a walking trail. Back yard fenced, great if you have kids. The master bedroom and bedroom with 2 pretty twin beds share the main bathroom. Sun room has a sofa bed and a full (smaller but cute) bathroom. Only recommendation I would make is bring a foam pad for the sofa bed if you use it, it sleeps like most sofa beds. (kids probably wouldn't care). Washer & drier came in handy, also coffee maker, dishwasher, microwave, and hair drier. Nice bath towels. Evona is a sweetheart, thank you Evona!
