This luxury 3 story log cabin is located in Somers, Montana over looking pristine Flathead Lake. Flathead Lake is the largest fresh water lake west of the Mississippi. The large wrap around deck offers spectacular views of the lake and surrounding woods. The cabin sits on 5 wooded acres with abundant wildlife. Somers is very conveniently located between Lakeside and the city of Kalispell. Bigfork is only about 9 miles East. This cabin is not suitable for children under 5 years of age, also not wheelchair accessible. Autumn is a great time to visit the Flathead as the weather is cooler and the crowds are gone! We look forward to your visit. I have a camera on my front door.

Fantastic place, the views are amazing.

We absolutely loved this home. It never got old waking up to these spectacular views or coming back from hiking in Glacier National Park to such a calm and relaxing log home. Simply Wonderful!!!!

This is a great place to stay. Very clean and the view is better than the pictures. The porch was a fantastic place to relax at the end of a day of hiking in Glacier. The owner is very responsive. Definitely recommend.

Lodge Perfection

We visited Montana for our 25th anniversary with our 2 children (18 & 20), and everyone loved this home! Our son kept referring to it as The Lodge…and it truly was magnificent! The view is amazing, but he beds were comfy, and the wifi was great!! We would highly recommend everyone take a trip to Montana and stay here!

One week stay in July

The location is excellent, right off Flathead Lake and convenient to Glacier Park and Whitefish. The house is beautiful, the beds were comfortable. My only complaint is there was food left in the refrigerator and pantry from previous renters, which was a little off-putting.

Beautiful cabin with a spectacular view. Well stocked with all we needed for a lovely week in the mountains. Only one hour from West Glacier. Definitely plan to return some day.

This is an absolutely beautiful cabin and property! The cabin is placed on a hill with a gorgeous view of flathead lake that is so quiet and peaceful. It is equipped with everything you need to cook meals indoors or grill outside. The deck was one of our favorite spots to relax. This really was rhe perfect rental for my family. We got the best of both worlds, secluded privacy but close to the national park, grocery stores and diners if we did not feel like cooking. I can not recommend this home and host enough! She was amazing and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay!

Peace and Quiet

The cabin is very peaceful and secluded. It is a beautiful log cabin with a beautiful view. We combined our relaxation with some day trips to: a music festival, a boat ride and hiking on Wild Horse Island and an amazing visit to Glacier National Park- truly a must see!

Fantastic house

We, two couples over 60, stayed for a week at the house with fantastic views. It is furnished with taste and care. Everything is well organized and stocked - kind of a place one would want to live in comfortably and enjoy. Janice and Diane were great to deal with; prompt communications, quick responses and very accomodating.

Beautiful Clean Log Home with Breathtaking Lake and Mountain Views

This property was easy to find and access. Well equipped. Clean and very comfortable. Convenient to all services and other Lake communities. We spent hours on the front deck taking in the amazing views. Peaceful. Wildlife all around. Glacier National Park nearby. We will definitely return to this home for another vacation!!

Great View

Great View. Beautiful house. The house needs some routine maintenance, it is difficult to get to the door if you have bad knees and the road to the cabin is very rough. Saw deer, turkeys, squirrels, bunnies, and chipmunks near the cabin.

The cabin maintainence is done twice a year, before the season starts in spring and after the season ends in fall. You happen to rent at the end of the season late in Sept. when one of the batteries in the smoke detector malfunctioned. This has never happened before and you were well compensated with a check for $100 which I did not have to do! Things happen when you rent just as they do when it is your own home! Sorry for the inconvience.

Perfect lake view cabin!

Janice's cabin was absolutely perfect for our group trip to Glacier National Park! It is about one hour to the park entrance and 20 minutes to Kalispell. The cabin was very clean and check in/check out process was very easy. You have a perfect view of Flathead Lake and can get into town easily. We had 6 adults and it was plenty of space! Property owners were very responsive with any questions we had. I would highly recommend!

Vacation to Glacier National Park and Flathead Lake

We went in to Glacier National Park 5 days and spent several days exploring the amazing towns around Flathead Lake. This was a perfect central location for everything! We were literally within 30 minutes of anything and everything we wanted to do. We saw deer, turkey, elk and mountain goats on our drives to and from the cabin. The property has a wonderful view and was very well accommodated! Dealing with Janice was a pleasure! We will definitely stay here in the future!

Beautiful view.

The cabin and view is beyond beautiful. The cabin is approximately 2.5 miles from the lake on a dirt road. You can’t beat the view from this cabin. Cleanest place we have ever stayed. Has everything you would need. Kitchen was equipped for everything you need for cooking and spices. Drive all around Flathead Lake is amazing. Drive to Glacier is beautiful. Can’t go wrong with this cabin. We loved it.

Awesome views!!

This is my second time staying at Janice's property. It's fabulous. It's very clean and well stocked with lots of extras and is conveniently located to Lakeside, Kalispell, Bigfork, and Glacier NP. And the view of Flathead Lake from the deck is awesome. I spent every evening on the deck soaking it all in. I highly recommend this property if you're looking for a retreat in the Flathead Lake area. Working with Janice has been super easy both times I've stayed at the property.
