Oak island Ocean Walk

Unit was not very clean. Unwashed utensils and a couple pans. Dusty floor boards. Closets were cluttered with piles of beach items. 5 coffee makers…no idea why…just using up space. Pool was ok, pool bathrooms were awful…filthy and very poorly maintained. Will definitely look elsewhere for future beach vacations.

Nice getaway for family and our dog

The property was beautiful perfect size condo for my family and our dog. It was so important to find a place that accepted pets...very happy. Very quiet town, not much to do but go to the beach. It was a cloudy day and wanted to play mini golf- closed did not open until 5. The only stressful part of trip was that there are not enough restaurants open. Most places were open by 5pm and closed before 9. If you are not there by 5 - get ready for a 2 hour wait. Not sure if this is because of Covid but places dont have enough staff. Overall the condo was clean, a 2 minute walk to beach - a plus! The condo did have beach chairs, umbrella, iron board, iron and plenty of pots and pans. Rentals are nearby - we were originally told to bring our own beach chairs which was not necessary. I would give this place another try.

The property was very clean. Needed service for smoke detector battery. The gentleman came immediately. He was so nice. Perfect place, clean and would definitely stay again.

Nice weekend

We stay at this complex every year. The unit was comparable to the other units we have stayed at there. Believe the unit may have been vacant a few weeks and the cleaning effort was sub-par.
