All advantages of the city in the countryside. Comfortable half-timbered Alsatian house fully furnished and charmingly decorated with quality antique furniture and rugs. A 'Kacheloffe' tiled wood stove complements the heating with a soft and authentic note for winter evenings.
Very quiet location with private parking and interior courtyard to enjoy the sun with garden furniture and enjoy a barbecue from spring to fall. Ideal to rest.
140 m2 for 2 to 6 people. A bathroom with bath, separate toilet, separate shower, bathroom with toilet upstairs. Wifi and cable for internet access. Washing machine, dryer, dishwasher and all the comforts to make your life easier. Typical products will be offered to you at the reception to discover the pleasures of the Alsace region.

You are in the center of a typical village, surrounded by half-timbered houses and all the necessary shops. Strasbourg center is 10 minutes by train or car, the fields one minute on foot.

A fantastic place to stay! Highly reccommend. A beautiful house, very clean and spacious. All ammenities - washing maching, dryer, dishwasher, oven, stovetop, fridge. Close to bus stop and train station (both walking distance) Very accommodating hosts, kept the fire going when we were out, offered advice on things to do, where to eat, grocery shops, maps. A great stay all round!

Fabulous stay

Excellent stay

Four of us stayed a week in this property and had a great time. Convenient stores nearby. Best of all were the owners, who live adjacent to the property. They went out of their way to see we were looked after. Highly recommend.

We searched for a close location to Brumath for a sport event and founded this house. It was a great place to stay. Haven't been really active for tourisme because of the sport event where we participated the entire week. But there are a lot of nice things to see like Strassburg.

A lovely house and area

The house was perfect for us - two adults and two teenagers. It was clean and and cool, a welcome return after a hot day sightseeing! The owners were very helpful and freindly. Perfect location for visiting Strasbourg and Germany, with plenty more to see and do. We especially liked Baden Baden and the Europa Park. Would love to come back one day.

A glorious stay in a wonderful house

The Yellow House is even prettier than the photos on the website. We are a family of 5 (children 10, 8 and 8) and had a great fortnight there. The house has everything you need and the lounge was particularly cozy in the evenings. Helene and Marc, who live next door were very helpful and gave lots of suggestions for things to do both in Strasbourg and in Alsace. We couldn't recommend it highly enough.

Best winter break ever.

The property was exactly as described and photographed. Mark and Helene are fantastic hosts. Hélène met us at the station and they both gave us a full tour of the cosy cottage and provided complementary Christmas drinks and food. The house is like a picture postcard inside and out beautifully decorated for Noel. We took their advice to visit some of the regional Xmas markets on the weekend leaving Strasbourg and Colmar during the less busy weekdays. We highly recommend this accommodation in Old Vendenheim within a short commute to Strasbourg by bus or train. We will certainly come back again.

Nous avions logé avec nos amis la deuxième semaine qui avaient loué ce logement.Au lieu de 3 chambres il n’y en avait que 2 et un salon avec lit convertible non adapté à certaines personnes!Maison spacieuse mais assez sombre meublée à l’ancienne! Escaliers pas très commodes pour notre âge.Nous avons apprécié la climatisation au second mais pas de Clim. au 1er ni au RdC!car il faisait très chaud jusqu’à 37dg!Mes amis ne sont pas sortis pendant la 1ère semaine à cause de la chaleur.Séjour dans l’ensemble à peu près mais sans plus!Nous avons écourté nos vacances.Les propriétaires étaient sympas!

Je ne peux que conseiller cette charmante maison très accueillante et reposante. Radurlaub Elsass

Sehr nette und freundliche Gastgeber, herzlicher Empfang. Wir wurden mit einem elsässischen Kuchen einem guten Bier sowie einer Flasche Sekt überrascht. Die Radtouren die wir bei unbeständigen Wetter machen konnten führten uns am Kanal sowie an verschiedenen Fort vorbei. Straßburg ist mit dem Zug in 10 Minuten erreichbar und sehenswert. Wie gesagt bis aufs Wetter war unsere Urlaub ein voller Erfolg.
