Welcome to 'Southern Attitude'. Our address is 6195 Sawgrass Drive, Gulf Shores, 36542. Southern Attitude is a very easy stroll to the white sandy beaches and beautiful waters Gulf Shores is famous for, but distant enough from the busy beaches of the downtown area to enable you to enjoy seclusion and peace. This house was built to be a restful beachfront retreat; it has been loved and enjoyed by all who have vacationed here and we know after your stay, you will agree!

Our house is located in beautiful, tranquil Fort Morgan, 6 miles from the actual historic Fort Morgan and minutes from downtown Gulf Shores. We are 20 minutes west of downtown Gulf Shores, convenient to all restaurants, grocery stores, shopping centers, movie theaters, zoo, amusement areas and water park. For golfers in the group, it is minutes away from the world famous Kiva Dunes Golf Club, a winner of numerous Golf Digest awards, as well as several golf courses conveniently located nearby. For days you would enjoy pampering, The Spa at The Beach Club (just minutes away) offers the best in services for mind and body.

Southern Attitude is richly decorated and furnished to meet your needs for a comfortable, relaxing, fun beach vacation. This beautiful 2 story, 4 bedroom, 3 bath house boasts two decks in the front of the house; French doors lead from the primary (King) and 2nd bedroom (King) that offer spectacular views of the Gulf. This screened-in 2nd story front balcony is furnished with comfortable chaise lounges, Adirondack and rocking chairs, perfect for relaxing while watching and listening to the waves hitting the shore during the day or viewing the incredible star-lit sky at night. The main floor (King) bedroom includes a full bath, with easy access to the kitchen, dining and living rooms.

The kitchen is equipped with everything you would need for an easy vacation, including dishwasher, garbage disposal, refrigerator with ice maker, all cookware, flatware, utensils, dining sets, small appliances and full pantry space. If grilling outside is your pleasure, there is a charcoal grill available for you as well. (We supply a small 'starter set' of paper towels, dishwasher detergent, hand/bath soaps; we do not supply spices, condiments or paper goods). We do not supply Beach Towels.

The dining area has a table large enough to seat 8 comfortably, with seating for 4 at the breakfast bar. The house is equipped with free Wi-Fi, as well as a flat screen TV, DVD/CD player in the living area. These rooms offer a beautiful gulf view and walk-out front porch, furnished with southern style rocking chairs.

The back porch is screened in, furnished with table and chairs. On the beach/car-port level, you will find an enclosed outdoor shower with hot and cold water and a changing area. There is a comfortable porch swing for spending time relaxing under the house, listening to the waves; a perfect place for children to play on rainy days! For making your stay easy and more enjoyable, the storage area on this level has a wonderful selection of sand toys, umbrellas and chairs, coolers, as well as two carts to transport everything you need to the beach. In addition, there are two community pools, one completely newly refurbished and heated, and tennis/pickleball courts within walking distance, just minutes away.

Our beaches and scenery are magnificent, the golf is spectacular and the restaurants are outstanding. There is truly an activity for every member of the family. Southern Attitude isn't just the name of our house, it truly reflects the good nature, beauty and hospitality that IS the South!
