Crystal Lake Cottage on the South Shore with Beach/Lake Access

This cute cottage is right across the street from beautiful Crystal Lake where you have a beach with lake access. If you have a boat, no problem, we have a mooring buoy that holds a boat up to 30 feet in length. A public boat launch is conveniently located adjacent to the property! The open floor plan is great for family fun or entertaining. Cable TV can be found in the living room as well as in the Master Bedroom. Wi-Fi is available for your personal devices. Bright and Airy best describes the feel of the decor. The spacious Living Room has an L shaped couch with plenty of seating, expansive glass sliding doors that open to a balcony that overlooks Crystal Lake. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, glass ware, pots and pans, cooking utensils, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, and dishwasher. Both bedrooms have their own bathroom. The 1st bedroom features a King Size Bed, large closet, flat screen TV, and an adjoining full bathroom. The second bedroom has bunk beds and a large closet. The lower bunk bed is a full size bed, and the upper bed is a single. Located on the South Shore of Crystal Lake, just a 5 minute drive to Frankfort, which has small town charm with boutique shopping, and great restaurants. Frankfort also offers a public beach on Lake Michigan next to the pier. Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes National Park, Point Betsie Lighthouse, and several spectacular golf courses are nearby.

Everything was great!

We enjoyed our week long stay here! Very clean and it was the perfect spot for our family of five. We loved the quiet street, the dock and boat ramp view from the balcony and it had everything we needed. We chose it over other places because of the two bathrooms, the washer and dryer, and view of Crystal Lake. We also enjoyed Sleeping Bear Dunes, the Frankfort Beach, kayaking on Crystal Lake, golfing and downtown Frankfort. It was a great trip!

Quiet and central location to the areas amenities.

We enjoyed our stay at this well appointed home close to Frankfort and Beulah attractions. Ideal as an “overflow” home when you have family and friends nearby like we do. Quiet. Comfortable and close to the lake… with nice views.

Great vacation spot!

We absolutely love Crystal Lake and the area and this house is the perfect location to enjoy it all! The 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms were great for our family and we will definitely be looking for this house again next summer! Everything was as listed and the owner responded quickly to our one question regarding our boat.

This charming house is right across the street from Crystal Lake. The street is quiet, good for walking or biking. The bright sunny kitchen has everything you could want or need. The check in /check out is seamless.

Great spot. Close to everything. Beautiful accommodations. Beach a little lacking if you have young kids, but easy enough to get to great public beaches within 5 minutes. Public boat launch literally across the street.

We enjoyed our stay and host was very responsive to our needs. Internet was very weak and inconsistent as it was being extended from across the street. Would recommended if internet is not needed.

Perfect for our Ironman

We were racing IM 70.3 in the area and this property was only 10 minutes away from the main Frankfort strip and extremely close to the water. Not only that, we had a little beach across the street! The beds were super comfy, the kitchen was nice and spacious, and we even used the grill! This property had everything we needed. It was also so relaxing at night because we could hear the crickets around. Perfect for our race, and just an overall great property for a relaxing stay.

Lovely Cottage!

Our stay at the Crystal Lake Cottage/home was very pleasant! Had a tv issue, but got it fixed! Thanks Steve! Only drawback was a little bit of a drive from our friends on opposite side of lake. Alway saw deer on drive home at night! Be alert! Thanks for a nice remote getaway!

The site is a good apartment setting with room for up to 4 adults. The master bedroom was very comfortable with attached bathroom. A minor note, the bottom sheet on the King bed did not fit.Adequate ventilation with appropriate fans. When entering, my wife noticed a musty/moldy odor on bottom level.Kitchen and laundry very adequate; however, no detergents available. Also, ants very noticeable on kitchen counters.TV in main room somewhat difficult to operate.One of the owners welcomed us and was very courteous and friendly. He told us to contact them if needed. Otherwise, they honored our privacy.Entry and checkout very easy.We enjoyed our stay.

We had a very nice time visiting Frankfort. The cottage provided fine accommodations.

The location for the cottage was excellent. The price was also a good value for the area. Betsy was great to work with. Only negative was there is no AC. Usually not a problem for norther MI but if you get some unlucky humidity or 90 degree days it gets a little uncomfortable at night.
